And Esther said,“ A foe and enemy! This wicked Haman!” Then Haman was terrified before the king and the queen.

以斯帖回答说：“敌人和仇家就是这恶人哈曼！”哈曼在王和王后面前十分惊恐。

以斯帖回答：“这敌人和仇人，就是这恶人哈曼！”哈曼在王和王后面前立刻惊惶万分。

以斯帖说：“那敌人、那仇敌，就是这恶人哈曼！”哈曼就在王和王后面前惊惶失措。

以斯帖回答：“這敵人和仇人，就是這惡人哈曼！”哈曼在王和王后面前立刻驚惶萬分。

以斯帖說：『敵人、仇敵、就是哈曼這個壞人！』哈曼在王和王后面前立即驚惶失措。

以斯帖說：「那敵人、那仇敵，就是這惡人哈曼！」哈曼就在王和王后面前驚惶失措。

以斯帖曰、厥仇厥敵、即此惡人哈曼也、於是哈曼驚懼、在王與后前、

后曰、敵非他、哈曼是也。哈曼於王及后前、不勝股栗。

以斯帖曰、敵人仇人即此惡人哈曼、哈曼於王及后前、不勝恐懼、

Esther said,“ An adversary and enemy! This vile Haman!” Then Haman was terrified before the king and queen.

Esther said,“ The man hates us! He’s our enemy! He’s this evil Haman!” Then Haman was terrified in front of the king and queen.

Esther replied,“ This wicked Haman is our adversary and our enemy.” Haman grew pale with fright before the king and queen.

Esther answered,“ The adversary and enemy is this evil Haman.” Haman stood terrified before the king and queen.

And Esther said,“ A foe and an enemy is this wicked Haman!” Then Haman became terrified before the king and queen.

And Esther said,“ The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman!” So Haman was terrified before the king and queen.

And Esther said, An adversary and an enemy, even this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.

Esther answered,“ The adversary and enemy is this evil Haman.” Haman stood terrified before the king and queen.

And Esther said, The adversary and enemy[ is] this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.

Esther replied,“ The oppressor and enemy is this evil Haman!” Then Haman became terrified in the presence of the king and queen.

Esther said,“ An adversary and an enemy, even this wicked Haman!” Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.

Oh that you would slay the wicked, O God! O men of blood, depart from me!They speak against you with malicious intent; your enemies take your name in vain.Do I not hate those who hate you, O Lord? And do I not loathe those who rise up against you?I hate them with complete hatred; I count them my enemies.

“ Indeed, the light of the wicked is put out, and the flame of his fire does not shine.The light is dark in his tent, and his lamp above him is put out.His strong steps are shortened, and his own schemes throw him down.For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walks on its mesh.A trap seizes him by the heel; a snare lays hold of him.A rope is hidden for him in the ground, a trap for him in the path.Terrors frighten him on every side, and chase him at his heels.His strength is famished, and calamity is ready for his stumbling.

They are not in trouble as others are; they are not stricken like the rest of mankind.Therefore pride is their necklace; violence covers them as a garment.Their eyes swell out through fatness; their hearts overflow with follies.They scoff and speak with malice; loftily they threaten oppression.They set their mouths against the heavens, and their tongue struts through the earth.

A king’s wrath is a messenger of death, and a wise man will appease it.

Immediately the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace, opposite the lampstand. And the king saw the hand as it wrote.Then the king’s color changed, and his thoughts alarmed him; his limbs gave way, and his knees knocked together.

God judges those outside.“ Purge the evil person from among you.”

Dreadful sounds are in his ears; in prosperity the destroyer will come upon him.He does not believe that he will return out of darkness, and he is marked for the sword.

And when all our enemies heard of it, all the nations around us were afraid and fell greatly in their own esteem, for they perceived that this work had been accomplished with the help of our God.

So the king took his signet ring from his hand and gave it to Haman the Agagite, the son of Hammedatha, the enemy of the Jews.

As the proverb of the ancients says,‘ Out of the wicked comes wickedness.’ But my hand shall not be against you.

When evildoers assail me to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes, it is they who stumble and fall.

Whoever says to the wicked,“ You are in the right,” will be cursed by peoples, abhorred by nations,but those who rebuke the wicked will have delight, and a good blessing will come upon them.

If you see in a province the oppression of the poor and the violation of justice and righteousness, do not be amazed at the matter, for the high official is watched by a higher, and there are yet higher ones over them.

until I went into the sanctuary of God; then I discerned their end.Truly you set them in slippery places; you make them fall to ruin.How they are destroyed in a moment, swept away utterly by terrors!Like a dream when one awakes, O Lord, when you rouse yourself, you despise them as phantoms.

My heart staggers; horror has appalled me; the twilight I longed for has been turned for me into trembling.
