So Haman came in, and the king said to him,“ What should be done for the man whom the king wishes to honor?” Haman thought to himself,“ Who is it that the king would want to honor more than me?”

哈曼就进去。王问他说：“王所喜悦尊荣的人，当如何待他呢？”哈曼心里说：“王所喜悦尊荣的，不是我是谁呢？”

哈曼就进去，王问他：“王喜欢赐尊荣给他的人，要怎样待他呢？”哈曼心里想：“王喜欢赐尊荣的人，除我以外，还有谁呢？”

哈曼进来了，王问他：“王愿意赐予尊荣的人，应该怎么对待他呢？”哈曼心里说：“王愿意赐予尊荣的人，除我以外，还会有谁呢？”

哈曼就進去。王問他說：「王所喜悅尊榮的人，當如何待他呢？」哈曼心裏說：「王所喜悅尊榮的，不是我是誰呢？」

When Haman entered, the king asked him,“ What should be done for the man the king delights to honor?” Now Haman thought to himself,“ Who is there that the king would rather honor than me?”

Haman entered. Then the king asked him,“ What should be done for the man I want to honor?” Haman said to himself,“ Is there anyone the king would rather honor than me?”

So Haman came in, and the king said to him,“ What should be done to the man whom the king delights to honor?” And Haman said to himself,“ Whom would the king delight to honor more than me?”

So Haman came in, and the king said,“ What should I do to honor a man who truly pleases me?” Haman thought to himself,“ Whom would the king wish to honor more than me?”

Haman entered, and the king asked him,“ What should be done for the man the king wants to honor?” Haman thought to himself,“ Who is it the king would want to honor more than me?”

Haman then came in and the king said to him,“ What is to be done for the man whom the king desires to honor?” And Haman said to himself,“ Whom would the king desire to honor more than me?”

So Haman came in, and the king asked him,“ What shall be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?” Now Haman thought in his heart,“ Whom would the king delight to honor more than me?”

So Haman came in. And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honor? Now Haman said in his heart, To whom would the king delight to do honor more than to myself?

Haman entered, and the king asked him,“ What should be done for the man the king wants to honor?” Haman thought to himself,“ Who is it the king would want to honor more than me?”

So Haman came in. And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour? Now Haman thought in his heart, To whom would the king delight to do honour more than to myself?

So Haman came in. The king said to him,“ What shall be done to the man whom the king delights to honor?” Now Haman said in his heart,“ Who would the king delight to honor more than myself?”

Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

Your presumptuous heart has deceived you– you who reside in the safety of the rocky cliffs, whose home is high in the mountains. You think to yourself,‘ No one can bring me down to the ground!’

Haman then recounted to them his fabulous wealth, his many sons, and how the king had magnified him and exalted him over the king’s other officials and servants.

As a result, all the king’s servants who were at the king’s gate were bowing and paying homage to Haman, for the king had so commanded. However, Mordecai did not bow, nor did he pay him homage.Then the servants of the king who were at the king’s gate asked Mordecai,“ Why are you violating the king’s commandment?”

May those who desire my vindication shout for joy and rejoice! May they continually say,“ May the LORD be praised, for he wants his servant to be secure.”

So Haman said to the king,“ For the man whom the king wishes to honor,

For the waywardness of the simpletons will kill them, and the careless ease of fools will destroy them.

And a voice from heaven said,“ This is my one dear Son; in him I take great delight.”

I will take delight in doing good to them. I will faithfully and wholeheartedly plant them firmly in the land.’

so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

Before destruction the heart of a person is proud, but humility comes before honor.

There is a generation whose eyes are so lofty, and whose eyelids are lifted up disdainfully.

Then let this clothing and this horse be given to one of the king’s noble officials. Let him then clothe the man whom the king wishes to honor, and let him lead him about through the plaza of the city on the horse, calling before him,‘ So shall it be done to the man whom the king wishes to honor!’”

“ Here is my servant whom I support, my chosen one in whom I take pleasure. I have placed my spirit on him; he will make just decrees for the nations.

You will no longer be called,“ Abandoned,” and your land will no longer be called“ Desolate.” Indeed, you will be called“ My Delight is in Her,” and your land“ Married.” For the LORD will take delight in you, and your land will be married to him.As a young man marries a young woman, so your sons will marry you. As a bridegroom rejoices over a bride, so your God will rejoice over you.

So Haman took the clothing and the horse, and he clothed Mordecai. He led him about on the horse throughout the plaza of the city, calling before him,“ So shall it be done to the man whom the king wishes to honor!”
