王说：“末底改做了这事，有没有赐给他什么尊荣或高位呢？”伺候王的臣仆说：“没有赐给他什么。”

王说：“末底改做了这事，有没有赐给他什么尊荣或高位呢？”伺候王的臣仆说：“没有赐给他什么。”

王便问：“末底改既行此事，可曾赐他什么尊荣和爵位吗？”服侍王的臣仆回答说：“没有赐他什么。”

王问：“为了这事，末底改得了什么尊荣和封赐没有？”侍候王的众臣仆回答：“他什么也没有得到。”

王就问：“为这事，赐予了末迪凯什么尊荣或地位吗？”事奉王的仆人们回答：“什么也没有赐予他。”

王說：「末底改行了這事，賜他甚麼尊榮爵位沒有？」伺候王的臣僕回答說：「沒有賜他甚麼。」

Then the king said,“ What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” And the king’s servants who attended him said,“ Nothing has been done for him.”

Then the king said,“ What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” And the king’s servants who attended him said,“ Nothing has been done for him.”

And the king said, What honor and dignity hath been bestowed on Mordecai for this? Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.

恰巧部百流的父親被熱病和痢疾困住、躺臥着。保羅進去見他，禱告，給他按手，醫治了他。這一來，島上其餘有病的人也都上前來、得治好了。他們贈送我們許多禮物表示敬意；開船時又把應用的東西送到船上。

於是伯沙撒下了令，人就把紫紅色袍給但以理穿上，把金鍊給他帶在脖子上；又傳出有關於他的公布：使他在國中掌權、居第三位。

迦勒說：『誰能攻擊基列西弗，將城攻取，我就把我女兒押撒給他為妻。』迦勒的兄弟、那比他小的、基納斯的兒子俄陀聶攻取了那城，迦勒就把女兒押撒給他為妻。

以色列眾人彼此說：『這上來的人你看見了麼？他上來是要向以色列人罵陣的；若有人擊殺了他，王就將大財寶使他成富，將自己的女兒給他為妻，並在以色列人中使他父家自由、免納糧當差。』大衛問站在他旁邊的人說道：『若有人擊殺了這個非利士人，從以色列人身上除掉了羞辱，可以受到甚麼待遇呢？這沒受割禮的非利士人是誰啊？竟敢向永活的上帝罵陣啊？』

大衛說：『誰先攻擊耶布斯人，誰就作統領、作元帥。』洗魯雅的兒子約押先上去，他就作了統領。
