王说：“末底改行了这事，赐他什么尊荣爵位没有？”伺候王的臣仆回答说：“没有赐他什么。”

王说：“末底改做了这事，有没有赐给他什么尊荣或高位呢？”伺候王的臣仆说：“没有赐给他什么。”

王说：“末底改做了这事，有没有赐给他什么尊荣或高位呢？”伺候王的臣仆说：“没有赐给他什么。”

王便问：“末底改既行此事，可曾赐他什么尊荣和爵位吗？”服侍王的臣仆回答说：“没有赐他什么。”

王问：“为了这事，末底改得了什么尊荣和封赐没有？”侍候王的众臣仆回答：“他什么也没有得到。”

王問曰、末底改因此、膺何尊榮爵位、侍臣對曰、無之、

“ What honor and recognition has Mordecai received for this?” the king asked.“ Nothing has been done for him,” his attendants answered.

And the king said,“ What honor or distinction has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” The king’s young men who attended him said,“ Nothing has been done for him.”

“ What reward or recognition did we ever give Mordecai for this?” the king asked. His attendants replied,“ Nothing has been done for him.”

The king inquired,“ What honor and special recognition have been given to Mordecai for this act?” The king’s personal attendants replied,“ Nothing has been done for him.”

Then the king said,“ What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” And the king’s servants who attended him said,“ Nothing has been done for him.”

Then the king said,“ What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” And the king’s servants who attended him said,“ Nothing has been done for him.”

And the king said, What honor and dignity hath been bestowed on Mordecai for this? Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.

當時，普布利烏的父親患熱病和痢疾，躺在床上。保羅就進去為他禱告，按手在他身上，使他痊癒了。這麼一來，島上其他有病的人也都來了，並且都得了痊癒。他們十分尊重我們；開船的時候，還送上所需要的東西。

伯沙撒下令，人就給但以理穿上紫袍，把金鏈戴在他的頸項上，並宣布他是國中位居第三的掌權者。

以色列人中有人說：「你們看見上來的這人嗎？他上來是為了羞辱以色列的。有誰能擊殺這人，王必賞賜他極大的財富，並且會把女兒賜給他，還會使他的父家在以色列免除賦稅。」大衛問站在旁邊的人說：「如果有人擊殺這非利士人，除掉以色列的羞辱，他會被怎樣對待呢？這未受割禮的非利士人是誰，竟敢辱罵永生神的軍隊！」
