The one who lives with integrity will be helped, but one who distorts right and wrong will suddenly fall.

Let whoever is wise understand these things, and whoever is insightful recognize them. For the ways of the LORD are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

Ask the king in the morning to hang Mordecai on it. Then go to the banquet with the king and enjoy yourself.” The advice pleased Haman, so he had the gallows constructed.

This is the interpretation of the message:‘ Mene’ means that God has numbered the days of your kingdom and brought it to an end.‘ Tekel’ means that you have been weighed on the balance and found deficient.‘ Peres’ means that your kingdom has been divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”
