On the third day Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the palace, in front of the king’s hall. The king was sitting on his royal throne in the hall, facing the entrance.

It so happened that on the third day Esther put on her royal attire and stood in the inner court of the palace, opposite the king’s quarters. The king was sitting on his royal throne in the palace, opposite the entrance.

Now on the third day, Esther put on her royal clothing, and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, next to the king’s house. The king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, next to the entrance of the house.

“你当去招聚书珊城所有的犹大人，为我禁食三昼三夜，不吃不喝；我和我的宫女也要这样禁食。然后我违例进去见王，我若死就死吧！”

得胜的，我要赐他在我宝座上与我同坐，就如我得了胜，在我父的宝座上与他同坐一般。

王说：“谁在院子里？”（那时哈曼正进王宫的外院，要求王将末底改挂在他所预备的木架上。）

你们不要以外面的辫头发，戴金饰，穿美衣为妆饰，只要以里面存着长久温柔、安静的心为妆饰；这在神面前是极宝贵的。因为古时仰赖神的圣洁妇人正是以此为妆饰，顺服自己的丈夫，

“王的一切臣仆和各省的人民都知道有一个定例：若不蒙召，擅入内院见王的，无论男女必被治死；除非王向他伸出金杖，不得存活。现在我没有蒙召进去见王已经三十日了。”

末底改穿着蓝色白色的朝服，头戴大金冠冕，又穿紫色细麻布的外袍，从王面前出来；书珊城的人民都欢呼快乐。

叫你们在我国里，坐在我的席上吃喝，并且坐在宝座上，审判以色列十二个支派。”

你们出去到底是要看什么？要看穿细软衣服的人吗？那穿细软衣服的人是在王宫里。

王用象牙制造一个宝座，用精金包裹。宝座有六层台阶，座的后背是圆的，两旁有扶手，靠近扶手有两个狮子站立。六层台阶上有十二个狮子站立，每层有两个：左边一个，右边一个；在列国中没有这样做的。

因此，请吩咐人将坟墓把守妥当，直到第三日，恐怕他的门徒来，把他偷了去，就告诉百姓说：‘他从死里复活了。’这样，那后来的迷惑比先前的更利害了！”

请王后瓦实提头戴王后的冠冕到王面前，使各等臣民看她的美貌，因为她容貌甚美。

“我差你们去，如同羊进入狼群；所以你们要灵巧像蛇，驯良像鸽子。
