On the third day Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the palace, in front of the king’s hall. The king was sitting on his royal throne in the hall, facing the entrance.

“你当去，把所有在苏萨中的犹太人都聚集起来，为我禁食，三天三夜不吃不喝；我和我的使女们也会如此禁食。然后我就去见王，虽然这样不符合法令；我如果因此灭亡，就灭亡吧！”

你们的美丽之处不应该是外在的，如编头发、戴金饰、穿华服，而应该是心里面内在的人，带着不朽坏的品性，出于谦和、安静的灵；这在神面前是极其贵重的。实际上，从前盼望神的那些圣洁妇女，也是这样装饰自己，服从自己丈夫的；

“王所有的臣仆和王各省的民族都知道：无论男女，如果不被召唤而进入内院去见王，那么给他的只有一条法令，就是被处死；除非王向他伸出金杖，他才得以存活；而我没有被召唤去见王已经有三十天了。”

末迪凯穿着蓝色、白色的王袍，戴着一个很大的金冠冕，披着紫色细麻布外袍，从王面前出来；苏萨城的人都欢喜呼喊。

使你们在我的国度里，在我的筵席上吃喝；并且坐在宝座上审判以色列的十二个支派。”

你们出去，究竟是要看什么呢？一个身穿细软衣服的人吗？看哪，那些穿细软衣服的人在王宫里。

所以，请你下令严密看守那坟墓，一直到第三天，免得他的门徒们来把他偷走，然后对民众说他从死人中复活了，这样，那最后的迷惑就要比先前的更厉害了。”

请王后瓦实提戴上王后的冠冕到王面前来，为要向民众和首领们显示她的美貌，因为她的容貌美丽。

“看哪，我差派你们出去，就像把羊送进狼群中，所以你们要像蛇那样聪明，像鸽子那样纯洁。
