On the third day Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the palace, in front of the king’s hall. The king was sitting on his royal throne in the hall, facing the entrance.

It so happened that on the third day Esther put on her royal attire and stood in the inner court of the palace, opposite the king’s quarters. The king was sitting on his royal throne in the palace, opposite the entrance.

Now on the third day, Esther put on her royal clothing, and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, next to the king’s house. The king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, next to the entrance of the house.

“你要去，把书珊城所有的犹大人都召集起来，为我禁食三天，就是三日三夜不吃不喝；我和我的婢女也要这样禁食。然后我就违例进去见王；我若是死，就死吧。”

得胜的，我必定赐他和我一同坐在我的宝座上，正像我得了胜和我父一同坐在他的宝座上一样。

王问：“谁在院子里？”那时哈曼正进了王宫的外院，要求王把末底改挂在哈曼为他预备的木架上。

不要单注重外表的装饰，就如鬈头发、戴金饰、穿华丽衣服；却要在里面存着温柔安静的心灵，作不能毁坏的装饰，这在神面前是极宝贵的。因为古时仰望神的圣洁妇女，正是这样装饰自己，顺服丈夫，

“王所有的臣仆和各省的人民，都知道有一条法令：无论男女，没有奉召就擅入内院去见王的，除非王向他伸出金杖，赐他免死，一律要处以死刑。现在我没有奉召进去见王已经三十天了。”

末底改穿着紫蓝色和白色的朝服，戴着硕大的金冠冕，又披上紫色细麻布的外袍，从王面前出来；书珊城的人都欢呼快乐。

叫你们在我的国里坐在我的席上吃喝，又坐在宝座上审判以色列的十二支派。

你们出去到底要看什么？身穿华丽衣裳的人吗？那些穿着华丽衣裳的人，是在王宫里的。

王又做了一个象牙大宝座，贴上了精金。那宝座有六级台阶，宝座的后背有一个圆顶，座处的两旁有一个扶手。扶手的旁边各有一只狮子站立着。在六级台阶上共有十二只狮子站着，左边一只，右边一只。在列国中都没有这样做过。

所以请你下令把坟墓严密看守，直到第三天，免得他的门徒来把他偷去，然后对民众说：‘他从死人中复活了。’这样，日后的骗局比起初的就更大了。”

去请王后瓦实提，戴着后冕到王面前，使众人和大臣欣赏她的美丽；因为她的容貌很美。

“现在，我差派你们出去，好像羊进到狼群中间；所以你们要像蛇一样机警，像鸽子一样纯洁。
