in the third year of his reign he held a banquet for all his officials and attendants, the army officers of Persia and Media, the nobles and the officials of his provinces, in his presence.At that time he displayed the riches of his royal glory and the splendor of his great majesty for many days, 180 days.When these days were finished, the king held a banquet lasting seven days for all the people who were present at the citadel in Susa, from the greatest to the least, in the courtyard of the garden of the king’s palace.

Have you invited us to impoverish us? Is this not so?”So Samson’s wife wept in front of him and said,“ You only hate me, and you do not love me; you have proposed a riddle to the sons of my people, and have not told it to me.” And he said to her,“ Behold, I have not told it to my father or mother; so should I tell you?”However she wept before him for seven days while their feast lasted. And on the seventh day he told her because she pressed him so hard. She then told the riddle to the sons of her people.
