“参加婚宴的时候，不要坐在首位，因为或许有更尊贵的宾客来赴宴，

锡安的少女啊，出去看看所罗门王的风采吧！他头上的王冠是他母亲在他成婚那天，在他心中欢快之日为他戴上的。

利未人使全体民众安静，说：“请安静，因为今天是圣日。不要悲伤。”

饮酒用的是各式各样的金器皿，御酒大量供应，足显王的慷慨。

于是，拉班就摆设宴席款待当地的人。

“天国就像一个王为儿子筹备婚宴。

你问问你的仆人就知道了。请你恩待我的部下，因为今天是好日子，求你随手赏一点东西给晚辈我和我的部下。”

我的妹妹，我的新娘啊，我已经来到自己的园中，采了我的没药和香料，品尝了我的蜂房和蜂蜜，也享用了我的美酒和鲜奶。朋友们，尽情吃喝吧。相爱的人啊，沉醉在爱中吧！

设宴欢庆，互赠礼物，周济穷人，以纪念犹太人在此月此日得以脱离仇敌，化忧为乐，转悲为喜。

参孙的父亲去那女子家，参孙按习俗摆设宴席。众人看见参孙，就安排了三十个人陪他。参孙对他们说：“我出一个谜语，如果你们可以在这七天的婚宴期间猜出来，我就送你们三十件细麻衣和三十件外袍。如果猜不中，你们就要给我三十件细麻衣和三十件外袍。”他们说：“请你出谜语吧！”参孙说：“食物出自食者，甜物出自强者。”三天过后，他们仍然猜不出来。到了第四天，他们对参孙的妻子说：“你要哄你的丈夫把谜底说出来，不然我们就把你和你父亲一家全烧死。你们邀请我们来，难道是要叫我们倾家荡产吗？”于是，参孙的妻子向他哭诉说：“你是恨我，不是爱我。你给我的族人出了谜语，却没有告诉我谜底。”参孙回答说：“我连父母都没有告诉，又怎能告诉你呢？”在七天的婚宴期间，她一直在丈夫跟前哭哭啼啼。到了第七天，参孙经不住妻子的催逼就把谜底告诉了她。她把谜底告诉了她的族人。

天使吩咐我说：“你要写下来，被邀请参加羔羊婚宴的人有福了！”他又说：“这是上帝亲口说的，千真万确。”

地上万民便兴高采烈，互相送礼道贺，因为这两位先知曾使地上的人受苦。
