眾女依次覲亞哈隨魯王、循定例、先薰沐十二月、六月用沒藥油、六月用香品、及女子薰沐其身之他物、然後女人覲王、女出後宮入王宮時、凡其所欲、無不給之、

Before a young woman’s turn came to go in to King Xerxes, she had to complete twelve months of beauty treatments prescribed for the women, six months with oil of myrrh and six with perfumes and cosmetics.

Each young woman had to complete 12 months of beauty care. They used oil of myrrh for six months. And they used perfume and makeup for the other six months. A virgin’s turn to go in to King Xerxes could come only after a full 12 months had passed.

Now when the turn came for each young woman to go in to King Ahasuerus, after being twelve months under the regulations for the women, since this was the regular period of their beautifying, six months with oil of myrrh and six months with spices and ointments for women—

Before each young woman was taken to the king’s bed, she was given the prescribed twelve months of beauty treatments— six months with oil of myrrh, followed by six months with special perfumes and ointments.

During the year before each young woman’s turn to go to King Ahasuerus, the harem regulation required her to receive beauty treatments with oil of myrrh for six months and then with perfumes and cosmetics for another six months.

Now when the turn came for each young woman to go in to King Ahasuerus, after the end of her twelve months under the regulations for the women— for the days of their beauty treatment were completed as follows: six months with oil of myrrh and six months with balsam oil and the cosmetics for women—

Each young woman’s turn came to go in to King Ahasuerus after she had completed twelve months’ preparation, according to the regulations for the women, for thus were the days of their preparation apportioned: six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with perfumes and preparations for beautifying women.

Now when the turn of every maiden was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that it had been done to her according to the law for the women twelve months( for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odors and with the things for the purifying of the women),

During the year before each young woman’s turn to go to King Ahasuerus, the harem regulation required her to receive beauty treatments with oil of myrrh for six months and then with perfumes and cosmetics for another six months.

Now when every maid’s turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women,( for so were the days of their purifications accomplished,[ to wit], six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and with[ other] things for the purifying of the women;)

At the end of the twelve months that were required for the women, when the turn of each young woman arrived to go to King Ahasuerus– for in this way they had to fulfill their time of cosmetic treatment: six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with perfume and various ointments used by women–

Each young woman’s turn came to go in to King Ahasuerus after her purification for twelve months( for so were the days of their purification accomplished, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet fragrances and with preparations for beautifying women).

你帶著油走到君王那裡，並且加多了你的香料，差派使者到遠方去，你甚至自己下到陰間去！

又用沒藥、沉香和桂皮，薰了我的榻。

那從曠野上來，好像煙柱；用商人販賣的各種香粉、沒藥和乳香薰過的，是誰呢？

要你們各人曉得怎樣用聖潔尊貴的方法保守自己的身體（“身體”原文作“器皿”）；不要放縱邪情私慾，像那些不認識神的外族人一樣；

那城裡有一個女人，是個罪人，她知道耶穌在法利賽人家裡吃飯，就拿著一玉瓶香膏，站在耶穌背後，挨近他的腳哭，她開始用淚水沾濕他的腳，然後用自己的頭髮擦乾，又不住地吻他的腳，並且抹上香膏。
