因为王后这事必传到众妇人的耳中，说：‘亚哈随鲁王吩咐王后瓦实提到王面前，她却不来’，她们就藐视自己的丈夫。

因为王后这事必传到众妇人那里，她们就会藐视自己的丈夫，说：‘亚哈随鲁王吩咐瓦实提王后到王面前，她却不来。’

如果王后這事傳到所有作妻子的那裡，就會使她們在自己的眼中輕視她們的丈夫，說：『亞哈隨魯王吩咐人請王后瓦實提到自己面前來，她卻沒有來。』

蓋后之所為、必傳於諸婦、言王召后、而后不至、致諸婦亦蔑視其夫、

蓋王召后、后不至、天下婦女聞之、亦蔑視其夫。

人必傳言、亞哈隨魯王命王后瓦實提至王前、王后不至、天下諸婦、既知王后所行、必藐視其夫、巴西與瑪代命婦聞王后所行、必述於夫前、自此以後、必大開藐視忿怒之端、

For the queen’s conduct will become known to all the women, and so they will despise their husbands and say,‘ King Xerxes commanded Queen Vashti to be brought before him, but she would not come.’

All the women will hear about what the queen has done. Then they won’t respect their husbands. They’ll say,‘ King Xerxes commanded Queen Vashti to be brought to him. But she wouldn’t come.’

For the queen’s behavior will be made known to all women, causing them to look at their husbands with contempt, since they will say,‘ King Ahasuerus commanded Queen Vashti to be brought before him, and she did not come.’

Women everywhere will begin to despise their husbands when they learn that Queen Vashti has refused to appear before the king.

For the queen’s action will become public knowledge to all the women and cause them to despise their husbands and say,‘ King Ahasuerus ordered Queen Vashti brought before him, but she did not come.’

For the queen’s conduct will become known to all the women so as to make their own husbands despicable in their sight, when they say,‘ King Ahasuerus commanded that Queen Vashti be brought in to his presence, but she did not come.’

For the queen’s behavior will become known to all women, so that they will despise their husbands in their eyes, when they report,‘ King Ahasuerus commanded Queen Vashti to be brought in before him, but she did not come.’

For this deed of the queen will come abroad unto all women, to make their husbands contemptible in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not.

For the queen’s action will become public knowledge to all the women and cause them to despise their husbands and say,‘ King Ahasuerus ordered Queen Vashti brought before him, but she did not come.’

For[ this] deed of the queen shall come abroad unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not.

For the matter concerning the queen will spread to all the women, leading them to treat their husbands with contempt, saying,‘ When King Ahasuerus gave orders to bring Queen Vashti into his presence, she would not come.’

For this deed of the queen will become known to all women, causing them to show contempt for their husbands, when it is reported,‘ King Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she didn’t come.’
