knowing that whatever good each one does, slave or free, he will receive this back from the Lord.

應知人有善行、主必報之、固無間於奴僕與主人也。

because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free.

You know that the Lord will give each person a reward. He will give it to them in keeping with the good they do. It doesn’t matter whether they are a slave or not.

knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a bondservant or is free.

Remember that the Lord will reward each one of us for the good we do, whether we are slaves or free.

The wicked man earns an empty wage, but the one who sows righteousness, a true reward.

So don’t throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.

And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you; for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”

There is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

For the Son of Man is going to come with His angels in the glory of His Father, and then He will reward each according to what he has done.

For we must all appear before the tribunal of Christ, so that each may be repaid for what he has done in the body, whether good or worthless.

Woe to the wicked— it will go badly for them, for what they have done will be done to them.

Be glad and rejoice, because your reward is great in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

For he considered the reproach because of the Messiah to be greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, since his attention was on the reward.

For then you will have a future, and your hope will never fade.

He will repay each one according to his works:eternal life to those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality;but wrath and indignation to those who are self-seeking and disobey the truth but are obeying unrighteousness;affliction and distress for every human being who does evil, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek;but glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does what is good, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek.

Anyone who welcomes a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. And anyone who welcomes a righteous person because he’s righteous will receive a righteous person’s reward.And whoever gives just a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is a disciple— I assure you: He will never lose his reward!”

“ Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of people, to be seen by them. Otherwise, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
