我們主耶穌基督的父神是應當稱頌的。他在基督裡，曾經把天上各種屬靈的福分賜給我們：

弟兄們，我告訴你們，血肉之體不能承受神的國，必朽壞的也不能承受那不朽壞的。

遠超過一切執政的、掌權的、有能的、作主的，和今生來世所能舉出的一切名銜。

為了要使天上執政的和掌權的，現在藉著教會都可以知道神各樣的智慧。

基督已進到天上，在神右邊，眾天使、有權勢的、有能力的，都服從了他。

“你們應當竭力進窄門！我告訴你們，將來許多人要進去，卻是不能。

我不會再跟你們講很多的事，因為這世界的統治者將到；他在我身上毫無作用，

競賽的人若不遵守規則，就不能得冠冕。

耶和華問撒但：“你從哪裡來？”撒但回答說：“我在地上徘徊，走來走去。”

現在是這世界受審判的時候了，現在這世界的王要被趕出去。

我天天跟你們在殿裡，你們不向我下手；但現在是你們的時候了，也是黑暗掌權的時候了。”

在審判方面，是因為這世界的統治者已經受了審判。

耶穌對他說：“約拿的兒子西門，你是有福的，因為這不是人﹙“人”原文作“肉和血”。﹚指示你的，而是我在天上的父啟示你的。

你們與罪惡鬥爭，還沒有對抗到流血的地步；

既然樂意把自己的兒子啟示給我，使我可以在外族人中傳揚他，我就沒有和任何人（“人”原文作“肉和血”）商量，
