For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing:

For you have been called for this purpose, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you would follow in His steps,He who committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth;and while being abusively insulted, He did not insult in return; while suffering, He did not threaten, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously;and He Himself brought our sins in His body up on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by His wounds you were healed.

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—

By this will, we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all time.Every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins;but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God,

Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

“ This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends.

who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, eager for good deeds.

how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters.

Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.

Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.

but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ,

He who was delivered over because of our wrongdoings, and was raised because of our justification.

Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her,

I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats from this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I will give for the life of the world also is My flesh.”

The priest shall offer them up in smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire as a soothing aroma; all fat is the Lord’s.

But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
