惟其心頑、迄今讀舊約時、斯帕猶存、夫其帕因基督而廢矣、

蓋形軀之志、敵乎上帝、以其不服上帝律、且不能服也、從形軀者、不能取悅乎上帝、

昔爾不識上帝、役於本非神者、

是以往時無知、上帝容之、今乃隨在命眾改悔、

祈顧爾約、蓋斯土幽暗之處、充以強暴兮、

耶穌怒而環視之、憂其心頑也、語手枯者曰、伸爾手、伸之、即愈、

蓋世既依上帝之智、而自恃己智不識上帝、故上帝喜以若愚之道救諸信者、

爾以誰譬我、俾能相若、以誰擬我、而得從同、人傾囊出金、權衡其銀、僱厥金工、以鑄神像、俯伏而拜、荷之於肩、攜之而往、置諸其所、使之屹立、不離其處、人或呼之、而不能應、不能拯人於難、○爾悖逆者、當記憶之、顯為丈夫、而追念焉、

自信為瞽者之相、暗者之光、

惟其心驕傲、其性剛愎、泰然而行、乃黜其王位、奪其尊榮、

我將拯爾於斯民、及異邦中、即今遣爾就之者、俾啟其目、使之離暗就光、脫撒但之權、而歸上帝、致得罪赦、同獲因信成聖之業、

異邦偶像、乃銀乃金、人手所造、有口不言、有目不見、有耳不聞、有鼻不嗅、有手不挈、有足不行、喉不出言兮、造之者、賴之者、必似之兮、

維彼不知不思、其目障翳不見、其心蒙蔽不明、無人想念、無知識、無聰明、不云材木之半、我已焚之以火、烘餅於炭、半以炙肉食之、豈可用其餘者、而作可憎之物、俯伏以拜木榦乎、彼乃食灰、中心昏迷、使之離途、弗能自救、不知自言、我之右手所執、非虛誕乎、○
