From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

He makes the whole body grow and build itself up in love. Under the control of Christ, each part of the body does its work. It supports the other parts. In that way, the body is joined and held together.

from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

and may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you;

but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ,

But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from a sincere faith.

But God has so composed the body, giving more abundant honor to that part which lacked,so that there may be no division in the body, but that the parts may have the same care for one another.And if one part of the body suffers, all the parts suffer with it; if a part is honored, all the parts rejoice with it.Now you are Christ’s body, and individually parts of it.And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, and various kinds of tongues.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

constantly keeping in mind your work of faith and labor of love and perseverance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father,

Since you have purified your souls in obedience to the truth for a sincere love of the brothers and sisters, fervently love one another from the heart,

For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement,“ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Now concerning food sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge makes one conceited, but love edifies people.

We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is only fitting, because your faith is increasing abundantly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another grows ever greater.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.
