Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

惟居愛崇真、萬事漸長於彼、彼乃元首、即基督也、

基督為教會首、爾居仁而言實、萬事託之生長、

當以愛心言真實、凡事日漸增長、及於為元首者、即基督也、

務須篤守真諦、涵養愛德、日漸月漬、暢茂條達、庶克仰配為吾人元首之基督。

Instead, we will speak the truth in love. So we will grow up in every way to become the body of Christ. Christ is the head of the body.

But practicing the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Christ, who is the head.

but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ,

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.

And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church,

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily. Like a cedar of Lebanon he will send down his roots;his young shoots will grow. His splendor will be like an olive tree, his fragrance like a cedar of Lebanon.People will dwell again in his shade; they will flourish like the grain, they will blossom like the vine— Israel’s fame will be like the wine of Lebanon.
