Instead, we will speak the truth in love. So we will grow up in every way to become the body of Christ. Christ is the head of the body.

惟用爱心说诚实话，凡事长进，连于元首基督。

我们反而要用爱心说诚实话，各方面向着基督长进，连于元首基督，

我们反而要用爱心说诚实话，各方面向着基督长进，连于元首基督，

相反，我们说话要凭爱心坚持真理，在各方面都要追求长进，更像元首基督。

却要在爱中过诚实的生活，在各方面长进，达到基督的身量。他是教会的头，

我们却要在爱中说真话，在一切事上向着他长进；他就是头，是基督。

惟用愛心說誠實話，凡事長進，連於元首基督，

相反，我們說話要憑愛心堅持真理，在各方面都要追求長進，更像元首基督。

卻要在愛中過誠實的生活，在各方面長進，達到基督的身量。他是教會的頭，

但我們總要以愛心持守真理，各方面長大、直到長成了基督：基督就是元首。

我們卻要在愛中說真話，在一切事上向著他長進；他就是頭，是基督。

惟居愛崇真、萬事漸長於彼、彼乃元首、即基督也、

基督為教會首、爾居仁而言實、萬事託之生長、

當以愛心言真實、凡事日漸增長、及於為元首者、即基督也、

務須篤守真諦、涵養愛德、日漸月漬、暢茂條達、庶克仰配為吾人元首之基督。

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,

Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.

But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into him who is the head— Christ.

but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head— Christ—

but speaking truth in love, may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, even Christ;

But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into Him who is the head— Christ.

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head,[ even] Christ:

But practicing the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Christ, who is the head.

but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ,

Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Glory belongs to him both now and forever. Amen.

Dear children, don’t just talk about love. Put your love into action. Then it will truly be love.

So each of you must get rid of your lying. Speak the truth to your neighbor. We are all parts of one body.

God placed all things under Christ’s rule. He appointed him to be ruler over everything for the church.

Here is what you must do. Speak the truth to one another. Make true and wise decisions in your courts.

The whole building is held together by him. It rises to become a holy temple because it belongs to the Lord.

Like newborn babies, you should long for the pure milk of God’s word. It will help you grow up as believers.

Instead, we have given up doing secret and shameful things. We don’t twist God’s word. In fact, we do just the opposite. We present the truth plainly. In the sight of God, we make our appeal to everyone’s sense of what is right and wrong.

And he is the head of the body, which is the church. He is the beginning. He is the first to be raised from the dead. That happened so that he would be far above everything.God was pleased to have his whole nature living in Christ.

The husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head of the church. The church is Christ’s body. He is its Savior.

But here is what will happen for you who have respect for me. The sun that brings life will rise. Its rays will bring healing to my people. You will go out and leap for joy like calves that have just been fed.

Blessed is the person whose sin the Lord never counts against them. That person doesn’t want to cheat anyone.

Jesus saw Nathanael approaching. Here is what Jesus said about him.“ He is a true Israelite. Nothing about him is false.”

You have made yourselves pure by obeying the truth. So you have an honest and true love for each other. So love one another deeply, from your hearts.

I am not commanding you to do it. But I want to test you. I want to find out if you really love God. I want to compare your love with that of others.

Suppose a brother or a sister has no clothes or food.Suppose one of you says to them,“ Go. I hope everything turns out fine for you. Keep warm. Eat well.” And suppose you do nothing about what they really need. Then what good have you done?

Then she said to him,“ How can you say,‘ I love you’? You won’t even share your secret with me. This is the third time you have made me look foolish. And you still haven’t told me the secret of why you are so strong.”

Love must be honest and true. Hate what is evil. Hold on to what is good.

I will be like the dew to Israel. They will bloom like a lily. They will send their roots down deep like a cedar tree in Lebanon.They will spread out like new branches. They will be as beautiful as an olive tree. They will smell as sweet as the cedar trees in Lebanon.Once again my people will live in the safety of my shade. They will grow like grain. They will bloom like vines. And Israel will be as famous as wine from Lebanon.
