As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of people, by craftiness in deceitful scheming;

这样，我们就不再是小孩子，在人的狡诈和诡计中陷入那迷惑人的骗局，被各种教义之风摇动，飘来飘去。

這樣，我們不再作小孩子，中了人的詭計和欺騙的法術，被一切邪說之風搖動，飄來飄去。

這樣，我們就不再像小孩子，被各種異端邪說之風吹得飄來飄去，被人的陰謀詭計欺騙，隨波逐流。

使我們不再作小孩子，中了人的詭計和騙人的手段，給異教之風搖撼，飄來飄去，

使我們不再做孩童、像波浪漂來漂去，被各樣教義的風帶前帶後，就是人用欺騙手段、用狡猾施展謬妄之詭計造出來的。

這樣，我們就不再是小孩子，在人的狡詐和詭計中陷入那迷惑人的騙局，被各種教義之風搖動，飄來飄去。

致不復為童稚、蕩漾於諸教之風、受人詭譎欺惑之術、

毋若小子、受人詭譎伎倆、以其教風動煽惑、

使我儕不復為小子、中人之巧詐詭譎、及其誘惑之法、而被諸異教之風、飄蕩搖動、

然則吾人不可再為稚子、隨風飄盪、漫無定止、惑於異端、而溺於邪說。

Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.

We will no longer be babies in the faith. We won’t be like ships tossed around by the waves. We won’t be blown here and there by every new teaching. We won’t be blown around by cleverness and tricks. Certain people use them to hide their evil plans.

so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.

Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.

Then we will no longer be little children, tossed by the waves and blown around by every wind of teaching, by human cunning with cleverness in the techniques of deceit.

that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

that we may be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;

Then we will no longer be little children, tossed by the waves and blown around by every wind of teaching, by human cunning with cleverness in the techniques of deceit.

That we[ henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men,[ and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

So we are no longer to be children, tossed back and forth by waves and carried about by every wind of teaching by the trickery of people who craftily carry out their deceitful schemes.

that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;

Do not be misled by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.

Brothers and sisters, do not be children in your thinking; yet in evil be infants, but in your thinking be mature.

Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them.For such people are slaves, not of our Lord Christ but of their own appetites; and by their smooth and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting.

But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.

For we are not like the many, peddling the word of God, but as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God.

But false prophets also appeared among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.Many will follow their indecent behavior, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned;and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the actual words of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food.For everyone who partakes only of milk is unacquainted with the word of righteousness, for he is an infant.But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to distinguish between good and evil.

Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

I say this so that no one will deceive you with persuasive arguments.For even though I am absent in body, I am nevertheless with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your orderly manner and the stability of your faith in Christ.Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.See to it that there is no one who takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception in accordance with human tradition, in accordance with the elementary principles of the world, rather than in accordance with Christ.

In pointing out these things to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the good doctrine which you have been following.But stay away from worthless stories that are typical of old women. Rather, discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness;

For false christs and false prophets will arise and will provide great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

These are the ones who are hidden reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you without fear, like shepherds caring only for themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, doubly dead, uprooted;

For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires,

And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire, which burns with brimstone.

And many false prophets will rise up and mislead many people.

You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified?

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.

and their talk will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus,men who have gone astray from the truth, claiming that the resurrection has already taken place; and they are jeopardizing the faith of some.

“ To whom would He teach knowledge, And to whom would He interpret the message? Those just weaned from milk? Those just taken from the breast?

but we have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in trickery nor distorting the word of God, but by the open proclamation of the truth commending ourselves to every person’s conscience in the sight of God.

But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his trickery, your minds will be led astray from sincere and pure devotion to Christ.For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, this you tolerate very well!

As these disciples of John were going away, Jesus began speaking to the crowds about John:“ What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?

and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things to draw away the disciples after them.Therefore, be on the alert, remembering that night and day for a period of three years I did not cease to admonish each one with tears.

But evil people and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

For among them are those who slip into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses,always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, worthless in regard to the faith.But they will not make further progress; for their foolishness will be obvious to all, just as was that also of Jannes and Jambres.

I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel,which is not just another account; but there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.

and said,“ Truly I say to you, unless you change and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.So whoever will humble himself like this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

And I, brothers and sisters, could not speak to you as spiritual people, but only as fleshly, as to infants in Christ.I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to consume it. But even now you are not yet able,

You know that when you were pagans, you were led astray to the mute idols, however you were led.

Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who live on it worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed.He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of the sky to the earth in the presence of people.And he deceives those who live on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who live on the earth to make an image to the beast who* had the wound of the sword and has come to life.

and not a new convert, so that he will not become conceited and fall into condemnation incurred by the devil.

Look at the ships too: though they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are nevertheless directed by a very small rudder wherever the inclination of the pilot determines.

that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and false signs and wonders,and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not accept the love of the truth so as to be saved.

So do not listen to them, for more than forty of them are in hiding to ambush him, and these men have put themselves under an oath not to eat or drink until they kill him; and now they are ready and waiting for assurance from you.”

The godly person has perished from the land, And there is no upright person among mankind. All of them lie in wait for bloodshed; Each of them hunts the other with a net.

For behold, they have set an ambush for my life; Fierce men attack me, Not for my wrongdoing nor for my sin, Lord,

You are aware of the fact that all who are in Asia turned away from me, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes.

that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit, or a message, or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.No one is to deceive you in any way! For it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,who opposes and exalts himself above every so called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things?

For, while speaking out arrogant words of no value they entice by fleshly desires, by indecent behavior, those who barely escape from the ones who live in error,

He lurks in secret like a lion in his lair; He lurks to catch the needy; He catches the needy when he pulls him into his net.
