Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ,

I am by far the least important of all the Lord’s holy people. But he gave me the grace to preach to the Gentiles about the unlimited riches that Christ gives.

To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

我乃使徒之微、曾逐上帝會、不堪為使徒、

昔我嘗謗讟、窘逐、狎侮之、第此妄作、乃由不知不信而然、故猶蒙矜恤、

上帝欲示聖徒知奧妙之富有、即基督為榮顯之基、使爾異邦人知所仰望、

且因基督流血、托厥厚恩、得贖罪赦過、於是智慧益彰、

我宗基督言真而不偽、奉命為使徒、務傳斯道、教異邦人信主真理、

求父依己富有、以厥神賜爾心中剛健、

論悌弟則相友、論長長則相讓、

使徒離會所、皆喜、以為耶穌名而受辱、實榮我焉、

奧哉、上帝何智慧之大乎、其法不可測、其蹤不可追、

我何人斯、焉敢當樂輸之名、萬物由爾出、仍以爾物為獻。昔我列祖為賓旅於爾前、我儕亦然、我生命如影、難冀其長存。

上帝因基督耶穌、慈愛我儕、示後世知厥恩莫大、

經云、上帝為愛之者所備之事、目未見、耳未聞、心未念、

抑藐視其鴻慈、寛容、恆忍、不知上帝之仁愛、導爾悔改乎、

我奉命為使徒、務傳斯道、教異邦人、

悅以其子示我、使傳福音於異邦、我遂不謀於世人、

我欲爾知我為爾及老底嘉人、與未嘗覿面者、多竭心思、使其心受慰、仁愛浹洽於中、大有穎悟篤信、知父上帝與基督之奧、一切睿智識見、皆蓄積隱藏於基督衷、

吾之上帝因耶穌基督、將以其富有、暢爾所欲、

我為爾謀、當求煆煉之金於我、則可致富、亦求白衣自衣、以免裸裎、庶無愧怍、求膏膏爾目、則得見、

少者當服長老、彼此相順、必以謙讓為衣服、驕泰者、上帝擯斥、卑遜者、上帝賜恩、故當自卑、服上帝大力、及時必升、

有一言可信可嘉者、即基督耶穌臨世救罪人、其中我乃元惡、

由其盛而我眾受恩寵、恩寵益增、

上帝感爾、俾宗基督耶穌、而智由以成、義由以稱、聖由以作、罪由以贖、其實皆由上帝也、

勿結朋黨、勿尚虛榮、自卑以尊人、

亦有人兮、維爾是畏、維爾是賴、福祉崇隆、眾目瞻仰、

大闢王至耶和華前、坐而禱曰、我上帝耶和華與、我何人斯、我家世式微、蒙爾導我、有此今日。

主曰、往哉、彼乃我選之器、將播我名於異邦人、及王者與以色列民、

蓋主助彼得為使徒、以教受割者、亦助我為使徒、以教異邦人、

余以書致兄弟、不能無過激使爾復憶、蓋上帝恩賜我、令我為耶穌基督執事、訓異邦人、如祭司傳上帝福音、俾異邦人得托聖神為聖、余獻之而見納於上帝、論上帝之事、賴耶穌基督、余堪自許、

蓋爾曾聞上帝恩、以爾故、託我斯職、
