if so be that ye have heard of the dispensation of that grace of God which was given me to you- ward;

若爾聞上帝為爾之故、賜我頒恩之職、

蓋爾曾聞上帝恩、以爾故、託我斯職、

爾曹曾聞天主以爾故、賜恩託我斯職、

天主為爾等之益、授我以宣恩萬邦之重寄、爾等諒有所聞也。

Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me for you,

I am sure you have heard that God appointed me to share his grace with you.

assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace that was given to me for you,

assuming, by the way, that you know God gave me the special responsibility of extending his grace to you Gentiles.

assuming you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that he gave me for you.

if indeed you have heard of the administration of God’s grace which was given to me for you;

if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,

you have heard, haven’t you, about the administration of God’s grace that He gave to me for you?

If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

if indeed you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace that was given to me for you,

if it is so that you have heard of the administration of that grace of God which was given me toward you,

whereunto I was appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher.

whereof I was made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which was given me to you- ward, to fulfil the word of God,even the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me, even from my mother’s womb, and called me through his grace,to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles; straightway I conferred not with flesh and blood:

through whom we received grace and apostleship, unto obedience of faith among all the nations, for his name’s sake;

according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

But unto each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee forth far hence unto the Gentiles.

And Paul and Barnabas spake out boldly, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first be spoken to you. Seeing ye thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

And as they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

unto a dispensation of the fulness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth; in him, I say,

For ye have heard of my manner of life in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and made havoc of it:

whereunto I was appointed a preacher and an apostle( I speak the truth, I lie not), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

For if I do this of mine own will, I have a reward: but if not of mine own will, I have a stewardship intrusted to me.What then is my reward? That, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel without charge, so as not to use to the full my right in the gospel.For though I was free from all men, I brought myself under bondage to all, that I might gain the more.And to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, not being myself under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;to them that are without law, as without law, not being without law to God, but under law to Christ, that I might gain them that are without law.To the weak I became weak, that I might gain the weak: I am become all things to all men, that I may by all means save some.

For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but so to think as to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to each man a measure of faith.

( for he that wrought for Peter unto the apostleship of the circumcision wrought for me also unto the Gentiles);and when they perceived the grace that was given unto me, James and Cephas and John, they who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship, that we should go unto the Gentiles, and they unto the circumcision;

But I speak to you that are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I glorify my ministry;

if so be that ye heard him, and were taught in him, even as truth is in Jesus:

having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have toward all the saints,

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach unto the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom I send thee,to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me.

But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles and kings, and the children of Israel:

neither to give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questionings, rather than a dispensation of God which is in faith; so do I now.

But I write the more boldly unto you in some measure, as putting you again in remembrance, because of the grace that was given me of God,that I should be a minister of Christ Jesus unto the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

Let a man so account of us, as of ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

which is come unto you; even as it is also in all the world bearing fruit and increasing, as it doth in you also, since the day ye heard and knew the grace of God in truth;
