Wherefore I ask that ye may not faint at my tribulations for you, which are your glory.

I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory.

So here is what I’m asking you to do. Don’t lose hope because I am suffering for you. It will lead to the time when God will give you his glory.

So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.

So please don’t lose heart because of my trials here. I am suffering for you, so you should feel honored.

So, then, I ask you not to be discouraged over my afflictions on your behalf, for they are your glory.

Therefore I ask you not to become discouraged about my tribulations in your behalf, since they are your glory.

Now I would have you know, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the progress of the gospel;so that my bonds became manifest in Christ throughout the whole prætorian guard, and to all the rest;and that most of the brethren in the Lord, being confident through my bonds, are more abundantly bold to speak the word of God without fear.

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church;

But whether we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or whether we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which worketh in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer:

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:but they that wait for Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.

and shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye draw nigh this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your heart faint; fear not, nor tremble, neither be ye affrighted at them;

and sent Timothy, our brother and God’s minister in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith;that no man be moved by these afflictions; for yourselves know that hereunto we are appointed.For verily, when we were with you, we told you beforehand that we are to suffer affliction; even as it came to pass, and ye know.

In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not; O Zion, let not thy hands be slack.

And let us not be weary in well- doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God.

But ye, brethren, be not weary in well- doing.

For consider him that hath endured such gainsaying of sinners against himself, that ye wax not weary, fainting in your souls.Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin:and ye have forgotten the exhortation which reasoneth with you as with sons, My son, regard not lightly the chastening of the Lord, Nor faint when thou art reproved of him;
