For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith— and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

God’s grace has saved you because of your faith in Christ. Your salvation doesn’t come from anything you do. It is God’s gift.

So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ.

Everyone the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never cast out.

“ I assure you: Anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.

Don’t work for the food that perishes but for the food that lasts for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal of approval on Him.”“ What can we do to perform the works of God?” they asked.Jesus replied,“ This is the work of God— that you believe in the One He has sent.”

No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up on the last day.

He said,“ This is why I told you that no one can come to Me unless it is granted to him by the Father.”

Having been buried with Him in baptism, you were also raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,so that everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life.“ For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.Anyone who believes in Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.

and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His vast strength.
