But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us,

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,

But God loves us deeply. He is full of mercy.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,

But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much,

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

But“ when the kindness of God our Savior and his love for mankind appeared,he saved us not by works of righteousness that we have done but on the basis of his mercy, through the washing of the new birth and the renewing of the Holy Spirit,whom he poured out on us in full measure through Jesus Christ our Savior.And so, since we have been justified by his grace, we become heirs with the confident expectation of eternal life.”

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace

to demonstrate in the coming ages the surpassing wealth of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient and demonstrate great loyal love and faithfulness.

For there is no distinction between the Jew and the Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all, who richly blesses all who call on him.

But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

The LORD is compassionate and merciful; he is patient and demonstrates great loyal love.He does not always accuse, and does not stay angry.He does not deal with us as our sins deserve; he does not repay us as our misdeeds deserve.For as the skies are high above the earth, so his loyal love towers over his faithful followers.

and our Lord’s grace was abundant, bringing faith and love in Christ Jesus.

Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.”For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.Dear friends, if God so loved us, then we also ought to love one another.No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God resides in us, and his love is perfected in us.By this we know that we reside in God and he in us: in that he has given us of his Spirit.And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.If anyone confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God resides in him and he in God.And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has in us. God is love, and the one who resides in love resides in God, and God resides in him.By this love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, because just as Jesus is, so also are we in this world.There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears punishment has not been perfected in love.We love because he loved us first.

To me– less than the least of all the saints– this grace was given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ

Or do you have contempt for the wealth of his kindness, forbearance, and patience, and yet do not know that God’s kindness leads you to repentance?

And the LORD said,“ I will make all my goodness pass before your face, and I will proclaim the LORD by name before you; I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy.”

And what if he is willing to make known the wealth of his glory on the objects of mercy that he has prepared beforehand for glory–

In a far-off land the LORD will manifest himself to them. He will say to them,‘ I have loved you with an everlasting love. That is why I have continued to be faithful to you.

Certainly O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, and show great faithfulness to all who cry out to you.

“‘ I passed by you and saw you kicking around helplessly in your blood. I said to you as you lay there in your blood,“ Live!” I said to you as you lay there in your blood,“ Live!”I made you plentiful like sprouts in a field; you grew tall and came of age so that you could wear jewelry. Your breasts had formed and your hair had grown, but you were still naked and bare.“‘ Then I passed by you and watched you, noticing that you had reached the age for love. I spread my cloak over you and covered your nakedness. I swore a solemn oath to you and entered into a marriage covenant with you, declares the sovereign LORD, and you became mine.

They refused to obey and did not recall your miracles that you had performed among them. Instead, they rebelled and appointed a leader to return to their bondage in Egypt. But you are a God of forgiveness, merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and unfailing in your loyal love. You did not abandon them,

The LORD passed by before him and proclaimed:“ The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, and abounding in loyal love and faithfulness,keeping loyal love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin. But he by no means leaves the guilty unpunished, responding to the transgression of fathers by dealing with children and children’s children, to the third and fourth generation.”

Because of our God’s tender mercy the dawn will break upon us from on high

There is no other God like you! You forgive sin and pardon the rebellion of those who remain among your people. You do not remain angry forever, but delight in showing loyal love.You will once again have mercy on us; you will conquer our evil deeds; you will hurl our sins into the depths of the sea.You will be loyal to Jacob and extend your loyal love to Abraham, which you promised on oath to our ancestors in ancient times.

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your loyal love! Because of your great compassion, wipe away my rebellious acts!

Seek the LORD while he makes himself available; call to him while he is nearby!The wicked need to abandon their lifestyle and sinful people their plans. They should return to the LORD, and he will show mercy to them, and to their God, for he will freely forgive them.“ Indeed, my plans are not like your plans, and my deeds are not like your deeds,

It is not because of your righteousness, or even your inner uprightness, that you have come here to possess their land. Instead, because of the wickedness of these nations the LORD your God is driving them out ahead of you in order to confirm the promise he made on oath to your ancestors, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.Understand, therefore, that it is not because of your righteousness that the LORD your God is about to give you this good land as a possession, for you are a stubborn people!

For he says to Moses:“ I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”So then, it does not depend on human desire or exertion, but on God who shows mercy.

It is not because you were more numerous than all the other peoples that the LORD favored and chose you– for in fact you were the least numerous of all peoples.Rather it is because of his love for you and his faithfulness to the promise he solemnly vowed to your ancestors that the LORD brought you out with great power, redeeming you from the place of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

He prayed to the LORD and said,“ Oh, LORD, this is just what I thought would happen when I was in my own country. This is what I tried to prevent by attempting to escape to Tarshish!– because I knew that you are gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in mercy, and one who relents concerning threatened judgment.

Now the law came in so that the transgression may increase, but where sin increased, grace multiplied all the more,so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

He is the one who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not based on our works but on his own purpose and grace, granted to us in Christ Jesus before time began,

Yet the Lord our God is compassionate and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him.

But we ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.
