But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,

But God loves us deeply. He is full of mercy.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared,He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but in accordance with His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,whom He richly poured out upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior,so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His grace

so that in the ages to come He might show the boundless riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

But You, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, Slow to anger and abundant in mercy and truth.

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in mercy.He will not always contend with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever.He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our guilty deeds.For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him.

The Lord is gracious and compassionate; Slow to anger and great in mercy.

and the grace of our Lord was more than abundant, with the faith and love which are found in Christ Jesus.

And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,so that everyone who believes will have eternal life in Him.“ For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us.By this we know that we remain in Him and He in us, because He has given to us of His Spirit.We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, we also are in this world.There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.We love, because He first loved us.

To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ,

Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and restraint and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

And He said,“ I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the Lord before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show compassion to whom I will show compassion.”

And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon objects of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory,

The Lord appeared to him long ago, saying,“ I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore I have drawn you out with kindness.

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You.

“ When I passed by you and saw you squirming in your blood, I said to you while you were in your blood,‘ Live!’ Yes, I said to you while you were in your blood,‘ Live!’I made you very numerous, like plants of the field. Then you grew up, became tall and reached the age for fine jewelry; your breasts were formed and your hair had grown. Yet you were naked and bare.“ Then I passed by you and saw you, and behold, you were at the time for love; so I spread My garment over you and covered your nakedness. I also swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you so that you became Mine,” declares the Lord God.

They refused to listen, And did not remember Your wondrous deeds which You performed among them; So they became stubborn and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt. But You are a God of forgiveness, Gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger and abounding in mercy; And You did not abandon them.

Then the Lord passed by in front of him and proclaimed,“ The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in faithfulness and truth;who keeps faithfulness for thousands, who forgives wrongdoing, violation of His Law, and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, inflicting the punishment of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.”

Because of the tender mercy of our God, With which the Sunrise from on high will visit us,

Who is a God like You, who pardons wrongdoing And passes over a rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.He will again take pity on us; He will trample on our wrongdoings. Yes, You will cast all their sins Into the depths of the sea.You will give truth to Jacob And favor to Abraham, Which You swore to our forefathers From the days of old.

Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness; According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings.

Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near.Let the wicked abandon his way, And the unrighteous person his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.“ For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.

It is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart that you are going in to take possession of their land, but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord your God is driving them out from before you, and in order to confirm the oath which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.“ Know, then, that it is not because of your righteousness that the Lord your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stubborn people.

For He says to Moses,“ I will have mercy on whomever I have mercy, and I will show compassion to whomever I show compassion.”So then, it does not depend on the person who wants it nor the one who runs, but on God who has mercy.

“ The Lord did not make you His beloved nor choose you because you were greater in number than any of the peoples, since you were the fewest of all peoples,but because the Lord loved you and kept the oath which He swore to your forefathers, the Lord brought you out by a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

Then he prayed to the Lord and said,“ Please Lord, was this not what I said when I was still in my own country? Therefore in anticipation of this I fled to Tarshish, since I knew that You are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abundant in mercy, and One who relents of disaster.

The Law came in so that the offense would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was granted to us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,

To the Lord our God belong compassion and forgiveness, because we have rebelled against Him;

But we should always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.
