So then ye are no more strangers and sojourners, but ye are fellow- citizens with the saints, and of the household of God,

這樣看來，你們不再是外人和客旅，而是與聖徒一同作國民，是神家裡的人了，

這樣，你們就不再是外人或僑民了，乃是聖徒同國之民，是上帝一家的人。

由此可見，你們不再是外人，或寄居的；你們是聖徒的同國之民，是神家裡的人，

如是爾不復為外人、為客旅、乃與聖徒同籍、為上帝之眷屬、

於是、爾曹不復為外邦異家、乃與聖徒一邦、與上帝之人一家、

如此、爾曹不復為外人、不復為客旅、乃與聖徒為一邦、為天主一家之人、

因此、爾等已不復為外人或賓旅、爾等與諸聖同為天國之公民、聖宅之家人。

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household,

So you are no longer outsiders and strangers. You are citizens together with God’s people. You are also members of God’s family.

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,

So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family.

So, then, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God’s household,

It is enough for the disciple that he be as his teacher, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more them of his household!

having a wall great and high; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:on the east were three gates; and on the north three gates; and on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.And he that spake with me had for a measure a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.And the city lieth foursquare, and the length thereof is as great as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs: the length and the breadth and the height thereof are equal.And he measured the wall thereof, a hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.And the building of the wall thereof was jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto pure glass.The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all manner of precious stones. from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,

that ye were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother.For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; Break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: For more are the children of the desolate than of her that hath the husband.Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, so also it is now.Howbeit what saith the scripture? Cast out the handmaid and her son: for the son of the handmaid shall not inherit with the son of the freewoman.Wherefore, brethren, we are not children of a handmaid, but of the freewoman.
