In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

We have been set free because of what Christ has done. Because he bled and died our sins have been forgiven. We have been set free because God’s grace is so rich.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.

They are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

We have redemption, the forgiveness of sins, in Him.

But if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.If we say,“ We have no sin,” we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

For you know that you were redeemed from your empty way of life inherited from the fathers, not with perishable things like silver or gold,but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without defect or blemish.

He entered the most holy place once for all, not by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow, sprinkling those who are defiled, sanctify for the purification of the flesh,how much more will the blood of the Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works to serve the living God?Therefore, He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called might receive the promise of the eternal inheritance, because a death has taken place for redemption from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.

According to the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.Therefore, as He was coming into the world, He said: You did not want sacrifice and offering, but You prepared a body for Me.You did not delight in whole burnt offerings and sin offerings.Then I said,“ See— it is written about Me in the volume of the scroll— I have come to do Your will, God!”After He says above, You did not want or delight in sacrifices and offerings, whole burnt offerings and sin offerings( which are offered according to the law),He then says, See, I have come to do Your will. He takes away the first to establish the second.By this will of God, we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all.Every priest stands day after day ministering and offering the same sacrifices time after time, which can never take away sins.But this man, after offering one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God.

For this is My blood that establishes the covenant; it is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins.

And they sang a new song: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because You were slaughtered, and You redeemed people for God by Your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation.

“ Repent,” Peter said to them,“ and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

I pray that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power in the inner man through His Spirit,

Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, restraint, and patience, not recognizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ: Though He was rich, for your sake He became poor, so that by His poverty you might become rich.

so that in the coming ages He might display the immeasurable riches of His grace through His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a people for His own possession, eager to do good works.

But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became God-given wisdom for us— our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption,

No longer will one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least to the greatest of them”— this is the Lord’s declaration.“ For I will forgive their wrongdoing and never again remember their sin.

Compassion and forgiveness belong to the Lord our God, though we have rebelled against Him

Likewise, David also speaks of the blessing of the man God credits righteousness to apart from works:How joyful are those whose lawless acts are forgiven and whose sins are covered!How joyful is the man the Lord will never charge with sin!Is this blessing only for the circumcised, then? Or is it also for the uncircumcised? For we say, Faith was credited to Abraham for righteousness.

Sword, awake against My shepherd, against the man who is My associate— this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will also turn My hand against the little ones.

For You, Lord, are kind and ready to forgive, rich in faithful love to all who call on You.

Lord, hear! Lord, forgive! Lord, listen and act! My God, for Your own sake, do not delay, because Your city and Your people are called by Your name.

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock that the Holy Spirit has appointed you to as overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood.

Who is a God like You, removing iniquity and passing over rebellion for the remnant of His inheritance? He does not hold on to His anger forever, because He delights in faithful love.

How joyful is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered!How joyful is the man the Lord does not charge with sin and in whose spirit is no deceit!

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life— a ransom for many.”

Israel, put your hope in the Lord. For there is faithful love with the Lord, and with Him is redemption in abundance.

and to be gracious to him and say,“ Spare him from going down to the Pit; I have found a ransom,”

He adds: I will never again remember their sins and their lawless acts.Now where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.

Therefore I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little.”Then He said to her,“ Your sins are forgiven.”Those who were at the table with Him began to say among themselves,“ Who is this man who even forgives sins?”And He said to the woman,“ Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city— to bring the rebellion to an end, to put a stop to sin, to wipe away iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy place.Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince will be seven weeks and 62 weeks. It will be rebuilt with a plaza and a moat, but in difficult times.After those 62 weeks the Messiah will be cut off and will have nothing. The people of the coming prince will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come with a flood, and until the end there will be war; desolations are decreed.

This grace was given to me— the least of all the saints— to proclaim to the Gentiles the incalculable riches of the Messiah,

For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring you to God, after being put to death in the fleshly realm but made alive in the spiritual realm.

Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

maintaining faithful love to a thousand generations, forgiving wrongdoing, rebellion, and sin. But He will not leave the guilty unpunished, bringing the consequences of the fathers’ wrongdoing on the children and grandchildren to the third and fourth generation.

Seek the Lord while He may be found; call to Him while He is near.Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, so He may have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will freely forgive.

who gave Himself— a ransom for all, a testimony at the proper time.

He poured out this Spirit on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,

“ On that day a fountain will be opened for the house of David and for the residents of Jerusalem, to wash away sin and impurity.

I want their hearts to be encouraged and joined together in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God’s mystery— Christ.

to give His people knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins.

All the prophets testify about Him that through His name everyone who believes in Him will receive forgiveness of sins.”

He said to them,“ This is My blood that establishes the covenant; it is shed for many.

He prayed to the Lord:“ Please, Lord, isn’t this what I said while I was still in my own country? That’s why I fled toward Tarshish in the first place. I knew that You are a merciful and compassionate God, slow to become angry, rich in faithful love, and One who relents from sending disaster.

Therefore, let it be known to you, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you,and everyone who believes in Him is justified from everything that you could not be justified through the law of Moses.

As for you, because of the blood of your covenant, I will release your prisoners from the waterless cistern.

“ It is I who sweep away your transgressions for My own sake and remember your sins no more.

And what if He did this to make known the riches of His glory on objects of mercy that He prepared beforehand for glory—

And when you were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive with Him and forgave us all our trespasses.

and repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us,

Therefore repent and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out, that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

Jesus replied to him,“ Simon, I have something to say to you.”“ Teacher,” he said,“ say it.”“ A creditor had two debtors. One owed 500 denarii, and the other 50.Since they could not pay it back, he graciously forgave them both. So, which of them will love him more?”

But with You there is forgiveness, so that You may be revered.

These are the ones not defiled with women, for they have kept their virginity. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. They were redeemed from the human race as the firstfruits for God and the Lamb.

to the praise of His glorious grace that He favored us with in the Beloved.
