When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.

so that the multifaceted wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.

His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many crowns; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself.He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

“ But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.And all the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats;and He will put the sheep on His right, but the goats on the left.“ Then the King will say to those on His right,‘ Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let’s hold firmly to our confession.

Truly, truly, I say to you, a time is coming and even now has arrived, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in Himself, so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself;and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man.Do not be amazed at this; for a time is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear His voice,and will come out: those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the bad deeds to a resurrection of judgment.

And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
