I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

I pray to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is the glorious Father. I keep asking him to give you the wisdom and understanding that come from the Holy Spirit. I want you to know God better.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle,[ and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

For this cause we also, since the day we heard[ it], do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that[ pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

May be able to comprehend with all saints what[ is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

But grow in grace, and[ in] the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him[ be] glory both now and for ever. Amen.

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and[ he] to whomsoever the Son will reveal[ him].

O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare[ it]: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

But God hath revealed[ them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and[ to] my God, and your God.

That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

And I will give them an heart to know me, that I[ am] the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

But the Comforter,[ which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.

Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he[ is] the King of glory. Selah.

For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might,[ be] unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ,[ the Lord] of glory, with respect of persons.

But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I[ am] the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these[ things] I delight, saith the LORD.

And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find[ such a one] as this[ is], a man in whom the Spirit of God[ is]?And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this,[ there is] none so discreet and wise as thou[ art]:

Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known[ it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom[ is] the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king,[ I say], thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans,[ and] soothsayers;

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed[ it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing[ was] true, but the time appointed[ was] long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

Hath a nation changed[ their] gods, which[ are] yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for[ that which] doth not profit.

[ Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

The voice of the LORD[ is] upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD[ is] upon many waters.

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

Thine, O LORD,[ is] the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all[ that is] in the heaven and in the earth[ is thine]; thine[ is] the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

That ye may with one mind[ and] one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

And even as they did not like to retain God in[ their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
