Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love, all the days of this meaningless life that God has given you under the sun— all your meaningless days. For this is your lot in life and in your toilsome labor under the sun.

You love your wife. So enjoy life with her. Do it all the days of this meaningless life God has given you on earth. That’s what he made you for. That’s what you get for all your hard work on earth.

在虛空、消逝如影的人生，短暫的日子裡，有誰知道甚麼是對人有益處呢？誰能告訴人他死後在日光之下會發生甚麼事呢？

我眼中所求的，我都不禁止；我心所喜歡的，我都沒抑制。我的心因我的一切勞碌而快樂，這就是我從一切勞碌中所得的分。

神所作的不是一個嗎？其餘的氣息都是屬於他的。那一個尋求甚麼呢？就是神的子孫。（本節原文意思不確定）所以要謹守你們的靈性，不可對年輕時所娶的妻子不忠。

人人有吃有喝，在自己的一切勞碌中自得其樂；這就是神的恩賜。

我認為既善又美的，就是人在神所賜給他一生有限的年日中吃喝，享受他在日光之下勞碌所得的一切，因為這是他的分。

房屋與財富是祖宗遺留的產業；唯有明慧的妻子是耶和華所賜的。

因此我看人最好是在自己所作的事上自得其樂，因為這也是他的分；誰能使他看見他自己死後的事呢？

在我虛空的日子裡，我見過這兩件事：有義人行義反而滅亡，有惡人行惡倒享長壽。

覓得賢妻的，就是覓得幸福，也是蒙了耶和華的恩寵。

人最好是吃喝，在自己的勞碌中自得其樂；我看這也是出於神的手。

你使我的日子窄如手掌，我的一生在你面前如同無有；各人站得最穩的時候，也只不過是一口氣。（細拉）
