So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”So the Levites quieted all the people, saying,“ Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved.”And all the people went their way to eat and drink, to send portions and rejoice greatly, because they understood the words that were declared to them.

And they made sacrifices to the Lord and offered burnt offerings to the Lord on the next day: a thousand bulls, a thousand rams, a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.So they ate and drank before the Lord with great gladness on that day. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him before the Lord to be the leader, and Zadok to be priest.Then Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.

But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.

And Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said,“ This is the blood of the covenant which the Lord has made with you according to all these words.”Then Moses went up, also Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel,and they saw the God of Israel. And there was under His feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and it was like the very heavens in its clarity.But on the nobles of the children of Israel He did not lay His hand. So they saw God, and they ate and drank.

And you shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant and the Levite, the stranger and the fatherless and the widow, who are within your gates.Seven days you shall keep a sacred feast to the Lord your God in the place which the Lord chooses, because the Lord your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you surely rejoice.

Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering,but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.

And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your sons and your daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levite who is within your gates, since he has no portion nor inheritance with you.

Jesus said to him,“ Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.

Why did you say,‘ she is my sister’? I might have taken her as my wife. Now therefore, here is your wife; take her and go your way.”

On the eighth day he sent the people away; and they blessed the king, and went to their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the good that the Lord had done for His servant David, and for Israel His people.

But rather give alms of such things as you have; then indeed all things are clean to you.

Then the whole assembly agreed to keep the feast another seven days, and they kept it another seven days with gladness.For Hezekiah king of Judah gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep, and the leaders gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep; and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.The whole assembly of Judah rejoiced, also the priests and Levites, all the assembly that came from Israel, the sojourners who came from the land of Israel, and those who dwelt in Judah.So there was great joy in Jerusalem, for since the time of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, there had been nothing like this in Jerusalem.Then the priests, the Levites, arose and blessed the people, and their voice was heard; and their prayer came up to His holy dwelling place, to heaven.

Then He said to her,“ For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter.”
