义人和恶人、好人和坏人、洁净的和污秽的、献祭的和不献祭的、行善的和犯罪的、敢于起誓的和不敢起誓的人，最终的命运都一样。

All share a common destiny— the righteous and the wicked, the good and the bad, the clean and the unclean, those who offer sacrifices and those who do not. As it is with the good, so with the sinful; as it is with those who take oaths, so with those who are afraid to take them.

Everyone will die someday. Death comes to godly and sinful people alike. It comes to good and bad people alike. It comes to“ clean” and“ unclean” people alike. Those who offer sacrifices and those who don’t offer them also die. A good person dies, and so does a sinner. Those who make promises die. So do those who are afraid to make them.

It is the same for all, since the same event happens to the righteous and the wicked, to the good and the evil, to the clean and the unclean, to him who sacrifices and him who does not sacrifice. As the good one is, so is the sinner, and he who swears is as he who shuns an oath.

The same destiny ultimately awaits everyone, whether righteous or wicked, good or bad, ceremonially clean or unclean, religious or irreligious. Good people receive the same treatment as sinners, and people who make promises to God are treated like people who don’t.

那时，你们将再度看出义人与恶人之间的区别，事奉上帝者和不事奉上帝者之间的不同。

智者高瞻远瞩，愚人却在黑暗中摸索。但我知道两者终必有同样的命运。于是，我想：“既然愚人的命运也将是我的命运，我有智慧又怎么样呢？我只能说，‘这也是虚空。’”因为智者和愚人一样，不过被人记得一时，日后都会被遗忘。两者都难逃死亡。

因为，我认为都是一样，纯全无过的人和恶人都会被祂毁灭。

万军之耶和华说：“我要来到你们当中施行审判，速速作证指控那些行邪术的、通奸的、起假誓的、克扣工人薪水的、欺压寡妇孤儿的、冤枉异乡人的，以及不敬畏我的。

我看见狂傲的恶人亨通就心怀不平。

二人对她说：“要让我们信守誓言，你必须这样做，我们来攻占这座城的时候，你要把这条朱红色的绳子系在缒我们下去的窗户上，并且把你的父母、兄弟、姊妹和他们的亲人都召集到你家里。倘若有人因离开这房子跑到街上而遭遇不测，我们不负任何责任。我们一定保证屋内所有人的性命安全。如果你泄露我们的事，你要我们起的誓也就作废了。”

最好是持守这个教训也不放松那个教训，因为敬畏上帝的人必避免两个极端。

虽然罪人作恶多端仍得长寿，我却认为敬畏上帝的人必亨通。然而，恶人得不到祝福，他们必像幻影一样不能长久，因为他们不敬畏上帝。世上有一件虚空的事，就是义人遭受了恶人当受的报应，恶人却享受了义人该享的福乐。我认为这也是虚空。

上帝把智慧、知识和喜乐赐给祂喜悦的人，却让罪人忙于积攒财富，然后把他们的财富赐给祂喜悦的人。这也是虚空，也是捕风。

探望丧家胜过参加宴席，因为死亡是每个人的结局，活着的人要把这事铭记在心。

他说：“这是临到全天下的咒诅，因为书卷一面写着‘凡偷盗的必被清除’，另一面写着‘凡起假誓的必被清除’。”万军之耶和华说：“我要使这咒诅进入盗贼和奉我的名起假誓者的家，住在他们家里，毁灭他们的家，不留一木一石。”

为何恶人活着，得享长寿，势力强大？他们的儿孙围绕膝前，他们得见后代茁壮成长。他们家中平安无惧，他们不被上帝杖打。他们的公牛繁殖力强，他们的母牛从不掉胎。他们让孩童像羊群一样走到户外，尽情地欢跳。他们伴着铃鼓和竖琴歌唱，在笛声中欢喜不已。他们一生幸福，安然下到阴间。他们对上帝说，‘离开我们，我们不想学习你的道。全能者是谁，竟要我们事奉祂？向祂祷告有何益处？’看啊，他们的幸福不在他们手中；因此，我决不苟同他们的想法。“恶人的灯何曾熄灭？灾难何曾临到他们？上帝何曾发怒使他们受苦？他们何曾像风中的碎秸，像被暴风卷去的糠秕？你们说上帝会把惩罚留给他们的儿女，我认为不如报应在他们本人身上，让他们亲自领教。愿他们亲眼看见自己灭亡。愿他们喝下全能者的烈怒。因为他们的岁月一旦度尽，又怎会关心身后的家人？“上帝既审判身居高位者，谁还能传授知识给祂？有人至死仍充满活力，尽享平靖安逸。他营养充足，骨骼健壮。有人至死心中苦痛，从未尝过幸福的滋味。二者都埋入尘土，被蛆虫覆盖。我知道你们的想法，并那些冤枉我的诡计。你们问，‘权贵的房子如今何在？恶人住的帐篷今在何方？’难道你们没有问过旅客，不接受他们的说法？就是恶人在灾难之日得到幸免，在上帝发怒之日得以逃脱。谁会当面斥责他们的恶行，因其所作所为而报应他们？他们被抬入坟墓后，还有人看守墓地。他们在谷中的沃土安息，送葬的人前呼后拥，不计其数。你们的空谈怎能安慰我？你们的回答纯属荒谬。”

他起誓降服，却弃约背誓，所以绝不能逃避后果。因此，主耶和华说，‘我凭我的永恒起誓，他既藐视与我所立的誓言，背弃与我所定的约，我必惩罚他。

我要你凭耶和华——掌管天地的上帝起誓，你不会找这迦南的女子做我儿子的妻子。

就算那人活了千年，又活千年，却不能享受福乐，又如何呢？世人最终岂不都同归一处吗？

如今我们称狂傲的人有福，因为作恶的人凡事顺利，他们虽然试探上帝，却仍能逃过灾祸。’”

如果那女子不肯跟你来，你也算履行了你向我起的誓，只是你不可带我儿子回那里。”于是，老总管就把手放在他主人亚伯拉罕的大腿底下，为这事向他起誓。

他们在树林中虽然看见有蜂蜜正在滴落，但没有人敢伸手取蜂蜜吃，因为他们都怕违背誓言。
