Here is another bit of wisdom that has impressed me as I have watched the way our world works.

我见日光之下有一样智慧，据我看乃是广大，

我见日光之下有一样智慧，在我看来是伟大的，

我见日光之下有一样智慧，在我看来是伟大的，

我看见日光之下有一种智慧，对我来说意义深远。

在日光之下，我又看见一样智慧，觉得很有意义：

我又看到日光之下有一种智慧，对我来说很伟大：

我見日光之下有一樣智慧，據我看乃是廣大，

我見日光之下有一樣智慧，在我看來是偉大的，

我見日光之下有一樣智慧，在我看來是偉大的，

我看見日光之下有一種智慧，對我來說意義深遠。

在日光之下，我又看見一樣智慧，覺得很有意義：

以下這一項在日光之下我也看見，是智慧的例子；在我看來大有意義。

我又看到日光之下有一種智慧，對我來說很偉大：

我於日下、見有智慧、且以為大、

我觀世事、智之所用甚廣。

我又觀日下之事、乃知智慧之用甚廣、

I also saw under the sun this example of wisdom that greatly impressed me:

Here’s something else I saw on this earth. I saw an example of wisdom that touched me deeply.

In my search for wisdom and in my observation of people’s burdens here on earth, I discovered that there is ceaseless activity, day and night.

There is another serious tragedy I have seen under the sun, and it weighs heavily on humanity.

I have seen everything in this meaningless life, including the death of good young people and the long life of wicked people.

I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.
