因為人類並不知道他自己的定時：魚怎樣被捉住於致禍的網裏，鳥怎樣被捉住於機檻中，人類當禍患時、災禍忽然降到他們身上時、人也怎樣被羅住。

人不自知其時、魚入於網、鳥罹於羅、患難猝臨之日、世人陷於其中、亦若是也、○

譬彼水族羽族、猝罹網羅、人遘飛殃、出於莫測者亦若是。

時勢或作終局如何、人不得知、如魚之入網、網原文作惡網如鳥之入羅、禍患忽臨於人、而人陷其中亦若是、○

Moreover, no one knows when their hour will come: As fish are caught in a cruel net, or birds are taken in a snare, so people are trapped by evil times that fall unexpectedly upon them.

No one knows when trouble will come to them. Fish are caught in nets. Birds are taken in traps. And people are trapped by hard times that come when they don’t expect them.

For man does not know his time. Like fish that are taken in an evil net, and like birds that are caught in a snare, so the children of man are snared at an evil time, when it suddenly falls upon them.

People can never predict when hard times might come. Like fish in a net or birds in a trap, people are caught by sudden tragedy.

For certainly no one knows his time: like fish caught in a cruel net or like birds caught in a trap, so people are trapped in an evil time as it suddenly falls on them.

For indeed, a person does not know his time: like fish that are caught in a treacherous net and birds caught in a snare, so the sons of mankind are ensnared at an evil time when it suddenly falls on them.

For man also does not know his time: Like fish taken in a cruel net, Like birds caught in a snare, So the sons of men are snared in an evil time, When it falls suddenly upon them.

恶人被自己的罪缠住，义人却常常欢喜歌唱。

当人们正在说一切平安稳妥的时候，灾祸会像产痛临到孕妇一样突然临到他们，令他们无法逃脱。

遵从王命的必免遭祸患，因为智者心里懂得做事的时机和方法。尽管人面临重重困难，但做任何事都有时机和方法。无人知道未来的事，谁能告诉人将来的事呢？

“你们要小心，不要被宴乐、醉酒和人生的挂虑所拖累，免得那日子像网罗般突然临到你们，因为那日子将要这样临到世上每一个人。你们要时刻警醒，常常祷告，使你们能逃过这一切将要发生的灾难，并能站在人子面前。”

“你们都知道，一家的主人若预先知道贼什么时候来，一定不会让贼入屋偷窃。

对犯罪者的刑罚不迅速执行，世人便尽情作恶。

你把他们放在容易滑倒的地方，使他们落入毁灭中。他们顷刻间被毁灭，在恐怖中彻底灭亡。他们不过是人醒来后的一场梦。主啊，你一行动，他们必灰飞烟灭。

你为何使人像海里的鱼，像没有首领的爬虫呢？迦勒底人用钩子钩住他们，用渔网网住他们，用拖网把他们聚在一起，并因此而欢喜快乐。迦勒底人向渔网献祭，向渔网烧香，因为他们靠渔网而富裕，食物充足。难道他们要无休止地撒网，无情地毁灭列国吗？

“人子降临时的情形将像挪亚的时代，人们吃喝嫁娶，一直到挪亚进入方舟那天，洪水来了，毁灭了他们；又像罗得的时代，人们吃喝、做买卖、耕地、盖房。在罗得离开所多玛那天，烈火和硫磺从天而降，把他们全毁灭了。“人子显现之日的情形也是如此。那天，在自己屋顶上的，不要下来收拾行李；在田里工作的，也不要回家。

那青年立刻随她而去，像走向屠宰场的公牛，又像掉入陷阱的雄鹿，直等到利箭射穿他的肝。他像只自投网罗的飞鸟，浑然不知要赔上性命！

因此，灾难必突然临到，他们顷刻之间遭到毁灭，无可挽救。

祂要把烈焰熊熊的火炭和硫磺降在恶人身上，用炙热的风惩罚他们。

说：“今天你若知道那能带给你平安的事就好了！可惜这事现在是隐藏的，你看不见！因为有一天敌人要在你周围筑起壁垒把你团团围住，四面攻击你。他们要把你夷为平地，毁灭你城墙里的儿女，不会留下两块叠在一起的石头，因为你没有认识到上帝眷顾你的时刻。”

但上帝对他说，‘无知的人啊，今晚就要取走你的命！你所预备的一切留给谁享用呢？’”

你们在异教徒当中要品行端正。这样，尽管他们毁谤你们是作恶的人，但看见你们的好行为，也会在主来的日子把荣耀归给上帝。

他自陷网罗，步入圈套。套索缠住他的脚跟，网罗紧紧地罩住他。土里埋着绊他的绳索，路上有陷阱等待着他。

你们的罪恶必像一堵断裂、凸起的高墙，摇摇欲坠，瞬间倒塌，

但他们好像没有理性，生下来就是预备让人捉去宰杀的牲畜，连自己不懂的事也随口毁谤。他们在毁坏别人的时候，自己也必灭亡。

因为祂说：“在悦纳的时候，我应允了你；在拯救的日子，我帮助了你。”看啊，现在正是悦纳的时候！看啊，现在正是拯救的日子！

让他们这些被魔鬼掳去、受其摆布的人能够醒悟过来，脱离魔鬼的网罗。
