For all this I laid to my heart, even to explore all this: that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God; whether it is love or hatred, man doesn’t know it; all is before them.

凡此諸事、我決志詳察之、則知義者與智者、及其作為、咸在上帝之手、或蒙愛、或見惡、人不之知、悉在其前、

我竭吾心思、詳察百事、知義人智人之所為、咸歸上帝治理、惟觀其人之所值、而上帝之眷顧與否、仍難逆料。

我專心觀此諸事、究此諸事、知善人與智人及其作為、皆為天主所掌、或愛或惡、人無所能知、因諸事盡屬未來、或愛或惡人無所能知因諸事盡屬未來或作或愛或惡與諸未來之事人無所能知

So I reflected on all this and concluded that the righteous and the wise and what they do are in God’s hands, but no one knows whether love or hate awaits them.

I thought about all these things. I realized that those who are wise and do what is right are under God’s control. What they do is also under his control. But no one knows whether they will be loved or hated.

But all this I laid to heart, examining it all, how the righteous and the wise and their deeds are in the hand of God. Whether it is love or hate, man does not know; both are before him.

This, too, I carefully explored: Even though the actions of godly and wise people are in God’s hands, no one knows whether God will show them favor.

Indeed, I took all this to heart and explained it all: The righteous, the wise, and their works are in God’s hands. People don’t know whether to expect love or hate. Everything lies ahead of them.

For I have taken all this to my heart, even to examine it all, that righteous people, wise people, and their deeds are in the hand of God. People do not know whether it will be love or hatred; anything awaits them.

For I considered all this in my heart, so that I could declare it all: that the righteous and the wise and their works are in the hand of God. People know neither love nor hatred by anything they see before them.

Indeed, I took all this to heart and explained it all: the righteous, the wise, and their works are in God’s hands. People don’t know whether to expect love or hate. Everything lies ahead of them.

For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works,[ are] in the hand of God: no man knoweth either love or hatred[ by] all[ that is] before them.

So I reflected on all this, attempting to clear it all up. I concluded that the righteous and the wise, as well as their works, are in the hand of God; whether a person will be loved or hated– no one knows what lies ahead.

Yes, he loves the people. All his saints are in your hand. They sat down at your feet. Each receives your words.

in whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind?

There is a vanity which is done on the earth, that there are righteous men to whom it happens according to the work of the wicked. Again, there are wicked men to whom it happens according to the work of the righteous. I said that this also is vanity.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.My Father who has given them to me is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand.I and the Father are one.”

When I applied my heart to know wisdom, and to see the business that is done on the earth( even though eyes see no sleep day or night),

The king said to Zadok,“ Carry God’s ark back into the city. If I find favor in Yahweh’s eyes, he will bring me again, and show me both it, and his habitation;but if he says,‘ I have no delight in you;’ behold, here I am. Let him do to me as seems good to him.”

For this cause I also suffer these things. Yet I am not ashamed, for I know him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard that which I have committed to him against that day.

Yahweh, you will ordain peace for us, for you have also done all our work for us.

Listen, islands, to me. Listen, you peoples, from afar: Yahweh has called me from the womb; from the inside of my mother, he has mentioned my name.He has made my mouth like a sharp sword. He has hidden me in the shadow of his hand. He has made me a polished shaft. He has kept me close in his quiver.He said to me,“ You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”But I said,“ I have labored in vain. I have spent my strength in vain for nothing; yet surely the justice due to me is with Yahweh, and my reward with my God.”

who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Now we call the proud happy; yes, those who work wickedness are built up; yes, they tempt God, and escape.’Then those who feared Yahweh spoke one with another; and Yahweh listened, and heard, and a book of memory was written before him, for those who feared Yahweh, and who honored his name.They shall be mine,” says Yahweh of Armies,“ my own possession in the day that I make, and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.Then you shall return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God and him who doesn’t serve him.

“ But as for me, I would seek God. I would commit my cause to God,

Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed.

I applied my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly. I perceived that this also was a chasing after wind.

For I was envious of the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

But you do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take it into your hand. You help the victim and the fatherless.

For, behold, I have made you today a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land.They will fight against you, but they will not prevail against you; for I am with you”, says Yahweh,“ to rescue you.”

They say,“ How does God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?”Behold, these are the wicked. Being always at ease, they increase in riches.Surely I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocence,

All this I have seen in my days of vanity: there is a righteous man who perishes in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man who lives long in his evildoing.

Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed, and each as the Lord gave to him?I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase.So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.Now he who plants and he who waters are the same, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building.According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble,each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is.If any man’s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward.If any man’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.

Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun.

Into your hand I commend my spirit. You redeem me, Yahweh, God of truth.

He will keep the feet of his holy ones, but the wicked will be put to silence in darkness; for no man will prevail by strength.

I turned around, and my heart sought to know and to search out, and to seek wisdom and the scheme of things, and to know that wickedness is stupidity, and that foolishness is madness.

Further, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge. Yes, he pondered, sought out, and set in order many proverbs.The Preacher sought to find out acceptable words, and that which was written blamelessly, words of truth.

A fool also multiplies words. Man doesn’t know what will be; and that which will be after him, who can tell him?
