未來之事、彼不之知、其事之終、孰能告之、

氣之呼吸不能自主、死之猝至、亦不自持、在彼疆場、不能倖免、多行強暴、終難逭罰。

未來之事、人不能知、將成之事、孰能預告之、

Since no one knows the future, who can tell someone else what is to come?

No one knows what lies ahead. So who can tell someone else what’s going to happen?

For he does not know what is to be, for who can tell him how it will be?

Indeed, how can people avoid what they don’t know is going to happen?

Yet no one knows what will happen because who can tell him what will happen?

For he does not know what will happen; So who can tell him when it will occur?

for he knoweth not that which shall be; for who can tell him how it shall be?

Yet no one knows what will happen because who can tell him what will happen?

For he knoweth not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be?

Surely no one knows the future, and no one can tell another person what will happen.

For he doesn’t know that which will be; for who can tell him how it will be?

For indeed, a person does not know his time: like fish that are caught in a treacherous net and birds caught in a snare, so the sons of mankind are ensnared at an evil time when it suddenly falls on them.

For their disaster will rise suddenly, And who knows the ruin that can come from both of them?

Yet the fool multiplies words. No person knows what will happen, and who can tell him what will come after him?

For who knows what is good for a person during his lifetime, during the few years of his futile life? He will spend them like a shadow. For who can tell a person what will happen after him under the sun?

But at midnight there finally was a shout:‘ Behold, the groom! Come out to meet him.’Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps.But the foolish virgins said to the prudent ones,‘ Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’However, the prudent ones answered,‘ No, there most certainly would not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the merchants and buy some for yourselves.’But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the groom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut.Yet later, the other virgins also came, saying,‘ Lord, lord, open up for us.’But he answered,‘ Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’Be on the alert then, because you do not know the day nor the hour.

then the master of that slave will come on a day that he does not expect, and at an hour that he does not know,

For this reason you must be ready as well; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.

A person often rebuked who becomes obstinate Will suddenly be broken beyond remedy.

Now as to the periods and times, brothers and sisters, you have no need of anything to be written to you.For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord is coming just like a thief in the night.While they are saying,“ Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction will come upon them like labor pains upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

I have seen that nothing is better than when a person is happy in his activities, for that is his lot. For who will bring him to see what will occur after him?
