未來之事、彼不之知、其事之終、孰能告之、

氣之呼吸不能自主、死之猝至、亦不自持、在彼疆場、不能倖免、多行強暴、終難逭罰。

未來之事、人不能知、將成之事、孰能預告之、

Since no one knows the future, who can tell someone else what is to come?

No one knows what lies ahead. So who can tell someone else what’s going to happen?

Indeed, how can people avoid what they don’t know is going to happen?

Yet no one knows what will happen because who can tell him what will happen?

If no one knows what will happen, who can tell him when it will happen?

For he does not know what will happen; So who can tell him when it will occur?

for he knoweth not that which shall be; for who can tell him how it shall be?

Yet no one knows what will happen because who can tell him what will happen?

For he knoweth not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be?

Surely no one knows the future, and no one can tell another person what will happen.

For he doesn’t know that which will be; for who can tell him how it will be?

For man does not know his time. Like fish that are taken in an evil net, and like birds that are caught in a snare, so the children of man are snared at an evil time, when it suddenly falls upon them.

for disaster will arise suddenly from them, and who knows the ruin that will come from them both?

A fool multiplies words, though no man knows what is to be, and who can tell him what will be after him?

For who knows what is good for man while he lives the few days of his vain life, which he passes like a shadow? For who can tell man what will be after him under the sun?

But at midnight there was a cry,‘ Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps.And the foolish said to the wise,‘ Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’But the wise answered, saying,‘ Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.’And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.Afterward the other virgins came also, saying,‘ Lord, lord, open to us.’But he answered,‘ Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.

the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know

Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

He who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck, will suddenly be broken beyond healing.

Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you.For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.While people are saying,“ There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

So I saw that there is nothing better than that a man should rejoice in his work, for that is his lot. Who can bring him to see what will be after him?
