For the king’s word is authoritative, and who can say to him,“ What are you doing?”

王的话本有权力，谁敢问他说“你做什么”呢？

王的话本有权力，谁能对他说：“你在做什么？”

王的话本有权力，谁能对他说：“你在做什么？”

况且，王的命令至高无上，谁敢质问他呢？

既然王的话有权柄，谁敢问他：“你在作什么？”

要知道，王的话语有权柄；谁能对他说：“你在做什么呢？”

王的話本有權力，誰敢問他說「你做甚麼」呢？

王的話本有權力，誰能對他說：「你在做甚麼？」

王的話本有權力，誰能對他說：「你在做甚麼？」

況且，王的命令至高無上，誰敢質問他呢？

要知道，王的話語有權柄；誰能對他說：「你在做什麼呢？」

王言有權、孰能語之曰、爾何為哉、

王之命莫能禦、王所為、孰敢詰。

王之命有權、孰能詰之曰、爾所為何事、

Since a king’s word is supreme, who can say to him,“ What are you doing?”

The king has the final word. So who can ask him,“ What are you doing?”

For the word of the king is supreme, and who may say to him,“ What are you doing?”

His command is backed by great power. No one can resist or question it.

Since the word of the king is authoritative, who will say to him,“ What are you doing?”

Where the word of a king is, there is power; And who may say to him,“ What are you doing?”

For the king’s word hath power; and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

For the king’s word is authoritative, and who can say to him,“ What are you doing?”

Where the word of a king[ is, there is] power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

Surely the king’s authority is absolute; no one can say to him,“ What are you doing?”

for the king’s word is supreme. Who can say to him,“ What are you doing?”

If he snatches something, who can stop him? Who can ask him,“ What are you doing?”

All the inhabitants of the earth are counted as nothing, and he does what he wants with the army of heaven and the inhabitants of the earth. There is no one who can block his hand or say to him,“ What have you done?”

Let everyone submit to the governing authorities, since there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are instituted by God.So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you want to be unafraid of the one in authority? Do what is good, and you will have its approval.For it is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, because it does not carry the sword for no reason. For it is God’s servant, an avenger that brings wrath on the one who does wrong.

who says to a king,“ Worthless man!” and to nobles,“ Wicked men!”?God is not partial to princes and does not favor the rich over the poor, for they are all the work of his hands.

On the contrary, who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? Will what is formed say to the one who formed it,“ Why did you make me like this?”

A king’s terrible wrath is like the roaring of a lion; anyone who provokes him endangers himself.

A king’s rage is like the roaring of a lion, but his favor is like dew on the grass.

“ I say to you, my friends, don’t fear those who kill the body, and after that can do nothing more.But I will show you the one to fear: Fear him who has authority to throw people into hell after death. Yes, I say to you, this is the one to fear!

Now if you’re ready, when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, drum, and every kind of music, fall down and worship the statue I made. But if you don’t worship it, you will immediately be thrown into a furnace of blazing fire— and who is the god who can rescue you from my power?”

Then the king commanded Benaiah son of Jehoiada, and he went out and struck Shimei down, and he died. So the kingdom was established in Solomon’s hand.

It was reported to King Solomon,“ Joab has fled to the LORD’s tabernacle and is now beside the altar.” Then Solomon sent Benaiah son of Jehoiada and told him,“ Go and strike him down!”So Benaiah went to the tabernacle and said to Joab,“ This is what the king says:‘ Come out!’” But Joab said,“ No, for I will die here.” So Benaiah took a message back to the king,“ This is what Joab said, and this is how he answered me.”The king said to him,“ Do just as he says. Strike him down and bury him in order to remove from me and from my father’s family the blood that Joab shed without just cause.The LORD will bring back his own blood on his head because he struck down two men more righteous and better than he, without my father David’s knowledge. With his sword, Joab murdered Abner son of Ner, commander of Israel’s army, and Amasa son of Jether, commander of Judah’s army.The responsibility for their deaths will come back to Joab and to his descendants forever, but for David, his descendants, his dynasty, and his throne, there will be peace from the LORD forever.”Benaiah son of Jehoiada went up, struck down Joab, and put him to death. He was buried at his house in the wilderness.

But I tell you that you are wrong in this matter, since God is greater than man.Why do you take him to court for not answering anything a person asks?

Then King Solomon dispatched Benaiah son of Jehoiada, who struck down Adonijah, and he died.
