For the king’s word hath power; and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

王的话本有权力，谁敢问他说“你做什么”呢？

况且，王的命令至高无上，谁敢质问他呢？

既然王的话有权柄，谁敢问他：“你在作什么？”

Since a king’s word is supreme, who can say to him,“ What are you doing?”

The king has the final word. So who can ask him,“ What are you doing?”

For the word of the king is supreme, and who may say to him,“ What are you doing?”

His command is backed by great power. No one can resist or question it.

For the king’s word is authoritative, and who can say to him,“ What are you doing?”

Since the word of the king is authoritative, who will say to him,“ What are you doing?”

Where the word of a king is, there is power; And who may say to him,“ What are you doing?”

For the king’s word is authoritative, and who can say to him,“ What are you doing?”

Where the word of a king[ is, there is] power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

Surely the king’s authority is absolute; no one can say to him,“ What are you doing?”

for the king’s word is supreme. Who can say to him,“ What are you doing?”

Behold, he seizeth the prey, who can hinder him? Who will say unto him, What doest thou?

and all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

Let every soul be in subjection to the higher powers: for there is no power but of God; and the powers that be are ordained of God.Therefore he that resisteth the power, withstandeth the ordinance of God: and they that withstand shall receive to themselves judgment.For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. And wouldest thou have no fear of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise from the same:for he is a minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is a minister of God, an avenger for wrath to him that doeth evil.

Him that saith to a king, Thou art vile, Or to nobles, Ye are wicked;That respecteth not the persons of princes, Nor regardeth the rich more than the poor; For they all are the work of his hands.

Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why didst thou make me thus?

The terror of a king is as the roaring of a lion: He that provoketh him to anger sinneth against his own life.

The king’s wrath is as the roaring of a lion; But his favor is as dew upon the grass.

And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.But I will warn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, who after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made, well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that god that shall deliver you out of my hands?

So the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he went out, and fell upon him, so that he died. And the kingdom was established in the hand of Solomon.

And it was told king Solomon, Joab is fled unto the Tent of Jehovah, and, behold, he is by the altar. Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying, Go, fall upon him.And Benaiah came to the Tent of Jehovah, and said unto him, Thus saith the king, Come forth. And he said, Nay; but I will die here. And Benaiah brought the king word again, saying, Thus said Joab, and thus he answered me.And the king said unto him, Do as he hath said, and fall upon him, and bury him; that thou mayest take away the blood, which Joab shed without cause, from me and from my father’s house.And Jehovah will return his blood upon his own head, because he fell upon two men more righteous and better than he, and slew them with the sword, and my father David knew it not, to wit, Abner the son of Ner, captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.So shall their blood return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but unto David, and unto his seed, and unto his house, and unto his throne, shall there be peace for ever from Jehovah.Then Benaiah the son of Jehoiada went up, and fell upon him, and slew him; and he was buried in his own house in the wilderness.

Behold, I will answer thee, in this thou art not just; For God is greater than man.Why dost thou strive against him, For that he giveth not account of any of his matters?

And king Solomon sent by Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he fell upon him, so that he died.

The greyhound; the he- goat also; And the king against whom there is no rising up.
