但是惡人卻不能得享樂，而延年益壽；他只像日影；因為他在上帝面前不存着敬畏的心。

恶人却不得福乐，也不得长久的年日；这年日好像影儿，因他不敬畏神。

Yet because the wicked do not fear God, it will not go well with them, and their days will not lengthen like a shadow.

Sinful people don’t respect God. So things won’t go well with them. Like a shadow, they won’t be around very long.

But it will not be well with the wicked, neither will he prolong his days like a shadow, because he does not fear before God.

The wicked will not prosper, for they do not fear God. Their days will never grow long like the evening shadows.

However, it will not go well with the wicked, and they will not lengthen their days like a shadow, for they are not reverent before God.

But it will not go well for the evil person and he will not lengthen his days like a shadow, because he does not fear God.

But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God.

but it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.

在人虛幻的一生小小數目的日子裏、他度過去如影兒，誰知道甚麼是對於人一生中有好處啊？誰能告訴人在日光之下他身後會有甚麼事呢？

他長出如花草，又被割下；他飛去如影兒，並不停留。

惡人有禍啊！他有災難，因為他的手作甚麼，就有甚麼報給他。

就是壞人當災難的日子得存留，當上帝震怒的時日得送終。

而出來；行善的去到有生命之復活中，作壞事的去到受定罪之復活裏。

惡人在今世之完結也必這樣。天使必出來，把惡人從義人中分別出來，丟在火爐裏；在那裏必有哀哭和切齒。』

人好比一口氣；他的年日如同影兒直在過去。

然而明天的事你們還不知道呢！你們的生命甚麼樣呢？你們簡直是水氣，出現少時，隨後就不見了。

那麼這罪罰對於你們就必像有裂縫、凸出來、行將倒塌的高牆；其崩垮準會在頃刻間突然臨到的。

但你呢、上帝啊，使惡人下陰冥之坑哦！使流人血行詭詐的人活不到其半世哦！至於我呢、我是要倚靠你的。

我的日子比梭還快，都消耗於無指望中。『你要記得、我的性命只是一口氣；我的眼不會再見福樂。

我的上帝說：『惡人並沒有平安福利。』

永恆主試驗義人和惡人；他的心恨惡那愛強暴的。

那時你們就必重新看出義人與惡人之間、事奉上帝的與不事奉上帝的之間、有甚麼分別了。

他們並且要本着貪婪的心、用揑造的話、在你們身上牟取財利。他們之定受處刑從太古以來就沒有懶於執行；他們之定必滅亡並沒有打盹過。

惡人的歡躍就是短暫，不拜上帝之人的喜樂只是眨眼間麼？

『實在的、惡人的光是熄滅了的，他的火焰並不照耀着。

啊，你使我的年日只有幾手掌寬；我的一生在你面前如同無有；各人立在天地間都是虛幻。（細拉）
