恶人虽然领受恩惠，仍未学到公义。在正直之地，他行不义，也不看耶和华的威严。

还是你藐视他丰富的恩慈、宽容、忍耐，不知道他的恩慈是领你悔改吗？你竟放任你刚硬不悔改的心，为自己累积愤怒！在愤怒的日子，上帝公义的审判要显示出来。

第一要紧的，你们要知道，在末世必有好讥诮的人随从自己的私欲出来讥诮，说：“他要来临的应许在哪里呢？因为从列祖长眠以来，万物与起初创造的时候仍是一样啊！”他们故意忘记这事，就是从太古凭上帝的话有了天，并由水而出和藉着水而成的地；藉着水，当时的世界被水淹没而消灭了。但现在的天地还是凭着上帝的话存留，直留到不敬虔之人受审判遭沉沦的日子，用火焚烧。亲爱的，有一件事你们不可忘记，就是：主看一日如千年，千年如一日。主没有迟延他的应许，就如有人以为他是迟延，其实他是宽容你们，不愿一人沉沦，而是人人都来悔改。但主的日子要像贼一样来到；那日，天必在轰然一声中消失，天体都要被烈火熔化，地和地上的万物都要烧尽。

就动手打他的同伴，又和醉酒的人一同吃喝，在想不到的日子，不知道的时候，那仆人的主人要来，

但法老见灾祸舒缓了，就硬着心，不听从他们，正如耶和华所说的。

祸哉！那些以虚假的绳子牵引罪孽，以套车的绳索紧拉罪恶的人。他们说：“任以色列的圣者急速前行，快快成就他的作为，好让我们看看；任他的筹算临近成就，好使我们知道。”

他们打发小男孩出去，多如羊群，他们的孩子踊跃跳舞。他们随着琴鼓歌唱，因箫声欢喜。他们度日诸事亨通，在平安中下到阴间。他们对上帝说：‘离开我们吧！我们不想知道你的道路。全能者是谁，我们何必事奉他呢？求告他有什么益处呢？’

摩押自幼年以来常享安逸，如沉淀未被搅动的酒，没有从这器皿倒在那器皿，也未曾被掳掠过。因此，它的原味尚存，香气未变。

幸存的犹大人哪，你们现在要听耶和华的话；万军之耶和华—以色列的上帝如此说：‘你们若定意进入埃及，在那里寄居，

但这一次法老又硬着心，不放百姓走。

你怕谁，因谁恐惧，竟说谎，不记得我，不将这事放在心上。是否因我许久闭口不言，你就不怕我了呢？
