Who is like the wise? Who knows the explanation of things? A person’s wisdom brightens their face and changes its hard appearance.

Who is like a wise person? Who knows how to explain things? A person’s wisdom makes their face bright. It softens the look on their face.

Who is like the wise? And who knows the interpretation of a thing? A man’s wisdom makes his face shine, and the hardness of his face is changed.

How wonderful to be wise, to analyze and interpret things. Wisdom lights up a person’s face, softening its harshness.

Who is like the wise person, and who knows the interpretation of a matter? A person’s wisdom brightens his face, and the sternness of his face is changed.

If there be with him an angel, An interpreter, one among a thousand, To show unto man what is right for him;

and he was transfigured before them; and his face did shine as the sun, and his garments became white as the light.

and on my behalf, that utterance may be given unto me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,

but there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and he hath made known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these:as for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter; and he that revealeth secrets hath made known to thee what shall come to pass.But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but to the intent that the interpretation may be made known to the king, and that thou mayest know the thoughts of thy heart.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that when thou hearest a dream thou canst interpret it.And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.

And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom the spirit of God is?And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath showed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou:

To understand a proverb, and a figure, The words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

Which things also we speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Spirit teacheth; combining spiritual things with spiritual words.Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged.But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, and he himself is judged of no man.For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

A wise man is strong; Yea, a man of knowledge increaseth might.

And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell it me, I pray you.

The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth your God is the God of gods, and the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou hast been able to reveal this secret.
