因为愚昧人的笑声，好像锅子下面烧荆棘的爆声，这也是虚空。

愚昧人的笑聲，好像鍋下燒荊棘的爆聲；這也是虛空。

因為愚昧人的笑聲，好像鍋子下面燒荊棘的爆聲，這也是虛空。

因為愚昧人的笑聲，好像鍋子下面燒荊棘的爆聲，這也是虛空。

愚人的笑聲像鍋底下燒荊棘的噼啪聲。這也是虛空。

愚昧人的笑聲，就像鍋底下荊棘的爆聲一樣。這也是虛空。

鍋底下荊棘的爆裂聲怎麼樣，愚頑人的笑聲也怎麼樣：這也是虛空。

因為愚昧人的笑聲，好像熱鍋下面荊棘的爆聲。這也是虛空！

愚者之笑、猶釜底焚荊棘之聲、斯亦虛空、

愚人之笑、如荊棘、為爨火所焚、莫非捕風也。

愚者之笑聲、猶荊棘焚於釜下之聲、此亦屬於虛、

Like the crackling of thorns under the pot, so is the laughter of fools. This too is meaningless.

A foolish person’s laughter is like the crackling of thorns burning under a pot. That doesn’t have any meaning either.

For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the laughter of the fools; this also is vanity.

A fool’s laughter is quickly gone, like thorns crackling in a fire. This also is meaningless.

for like the crackling of burning thorns under the pot, so is the laughter of the fool. This too is futile.

For as the crackling of thorn bushes under a pot, So is the laughter of the fool; And this too is futility.

他们如同蜜蜂一般地围绕我，他们熄灭，好像烧荆棘的火；我靠耶和华的名，必剿灭他们。

你们用荆棘烧火，锅还未热，上帝就用旋风把未烧着的和已烧着的一齐刮去。

论嬉笑，我说：“这是狂妄。”论享乐，“这有什么用呢？”

为所行的不义受不义的工钱。他们喜爱白昼狂欢，他们已被玷污，又有瑕疵，正与你们一同欢宴，以自己的诡诈为乐。他们满眼是淫色，是止不住的罪，引诱心不坚定的人，心中习惯了贪婪，正是被诅咒的种类。他们离弃了正路，走入歧途，随从比珥的儿子巴兰的路；巴兰就是那贪爱不义的工钱的人，他却为自己的过犯受了责备，而那不能说话的驴以人的声音阻止了先知的狂妄。这些人是无水的泉源，是狂风催逼的雾气，有漆黑的幽暗为他们存留。

这样的人是你们爱筵上的污点；他们无所惧怕地同你们宴乐，仿佛牧人只顾喂饱自己。他们是无雨的浮云，被风飘荡；是秋天没有果子的树，死而又死，连根被拔出来；是海里的狂浪，涌出自己可耻的沫子来；是流荡的星，有漆黑的幽暗永远为他们保留着。

智慧人与愚妄人有争讼，或怒或笑，总不得安宁。

“我要使你们的节期变为悲哀，你们一切的歌曲变为哀歌；我要使众人腰束麻布，头上光秃；我要使这悲哀如丧独子，其结局如悲痛的日子。

亚伯拉罕说：‘孩子啊，你该回想你生前享过福，拉撒路也同样受过苦，如今他在这里得安慰，你却受痛苦。

所以，主耶和华如此说：“看哪，我的仆人必得吃，你们却饥饿；看哪，我的仆人必得喝，你们却干渴；看哪，我的仆人必欢喜，你们却蒙羞。看哪，我的仆人因心中喜乐而欢呼，你们却因心里悲痛而哀哭，因灵里忧伤而哀号。你们必留下自己的名给我选民指着赌咒：主耶和华必杀你们，另起别名称呼他的仆人。

你们现在饱足的人有祸了！因为你们将要饥饿。你们现在欢笑的人有祸了！因为你们将要哀恸哭泣。
