愚昧人的笑声，好像锅下烧荆棘的爆声；这也是虚空。

因为愚昧人的笑声，好像热锅下面荆棘的爆声。这也是虚空！

愚昧人的笑聲，好像鍋下燒荊棘的爆聲；這也是虛空。

因為愚昧人的笑聲，好像鍋子下面燒荊棘的爆聲，這也是虛空。

因為愚昧人的笑聲，好像鍋子下面燒荊棘的爆聲，這也是虛空。

愚人的笑聲像鍋底下燒荊棘的噼啪聲。這也是虛空。

愚昧人的笑聲，就像鍋底下荊棘的爆聲一樣。這也是虛空。

鍋底下荊棘的爆裂聲怎麼樣，愚頑人的笑聲也怎麼樣：這也是虛空。

因為愚昧人的笑聲，好像熱鍋下面荊棘的爆聲。這也是虛空！

愚者之笑、猶釜底焚荊棘之聲、斯亦虛空、

愚人之笑、如荊棘、為爨火所焚、莫非捕風也。

愚者之笑聲、猶荊棘焚於釜下之聲、此亦屬於虛、

Like the crackling of thorns under the pot, so is the laughter of fools. This too is meaningless.

A foolish person’s laughter is like the crackling of thorns burning under a pot. That doesn’t have any meaning either.

For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the laughter of the fools; this also is vanity.

A fool’s laughter is quickly gone, like thorns crackling in a fire. This also is meaningless.

for like the crackling of burning thorns under the pot, so is the laughter of the fool. This too is futile.

For as the crackling of thorn bushes under a pot, So is the laughter of the fool; And this too is futility.

他们如同蜂子围绕我，好像烧荆棘的火，必被熄灭；我靠耶和华的名，必剿灭他们。

你们用荆棘烧火，锅还未热，他要用旋风把青的和烧着的一齐刮去。

我指嬉笑说：“这是狂妄。”论喜乐说：“有何功效呢？”

行的不义，就得了不义的工价。这些人喜爱白昼宴乐，他们已被玷污，又有瑕疵，正与你们一同坐席，就以自己的诡诈为快乐。他们满眼是淫色，止不住犯罪，引诱那心不坚固的人，心中习惯了贪婪，正是被咒诅的种类。他们离弃正路，就走差了，随从比珥之子巴兰的路。巴兰就是那贪爱不义之工价的先知，他却为自己的过犯受了责备；那不能说话的驴以人言拦阻先知的狂妄。这些人是无水的井，是狂风催逼的雾气，有墨黑的幽暗为他们存留。

这样的人在你们的爱席上与你们同吃的时候，正是礁石。他们作牧人，只知喂养自己，无所惧怕；是没有雨的云彩，被风飘荡；是秋天没有果子的树，死而又死，连根被拔出来；是海里的狂浪，涌出自己可耻的沫子来；是流荡的星，有墨黑的幽暗为他们永远存留。

智慧人与愚妄人相争，或怒或笑，总不能使他止息。

我必使你们的节期变为悲哀，歌曲变为哀歌。众人腰束麻布，头上光秃，使这场悲哀如丧独生子，至终如痛苦的日子一样。”

亚伯拉罕说：‘儿啊，你该回想你生前享过福，拉撒路也受过苦；如今他在这里得安慰，你倒受痛苦。

所以，主耶和华如此说：“我的仆人必得吃，你们却饥饿；我的仆人必得喝，你们却干渴；我的仆人必欢喜，你们却蒙羞。我的仆人因心中高兴欢呼，你们却因心中忧愁哀哭，又因心里忧伤哀号。你们必留下自己的名，为我选民指着赌咒。主耶和华必杀你们，另起别名称呼他的仆人。

你们饱足的人有祸了！因为你们将要饥饿。你们喜笑的人有祸了！因为你们将要哀恸哭泣。
