如果一个跌倒，另一个还可以扶起他的同伴；但如果孤身一人，跌倒后没有同伴把他扶起，这人就有祸了！

若傾跌、則互相扶持、若孤身而跌、可歎無人援之起、

If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

Suppose either of them falls down. Then the one can help the other one up. But suppose a person falls down and doesn’t have anyone to help them up. Then feel sorry for that person!

For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!

If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.

For if either falls, his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to lift him up.

因此，你们要彼此鼓励，互相造就，就像你们现在所做的那样。

你们要坚固发软的手，稳固衰弱的膝；要对那些心里惊慌的人说：“你们要坚强，不要害怕。看哪，你们的神！他的报复将到——他所施行的报应将到；他必亲自来拯救你们。”

弟兄们，一个人无论被任何过犯所胜，你们属灵的人都要以温柔的心灵把这样的人挽回过来；但是你自己要留心，免得你也受试探。

所以，你们当用这些话彼此鼓励。

该隐与他的弟弟亚伯说话。他们在田野的时候，该隐就起来攻击他的弟弟亚伯，把他杀了。

主又说：“西门，西门，你看，撒旦想要得着你们，要筛你们像筛麦子一样。但是，我已经为你祈求，使你不失去信仰。所以当你回转过来的时候，要坚固你的弟兄们。”

扫罗的儿子约拿单起身去何列什见大卫，勉励他靠着神坚强，

不过矶法来到安提阿的时候，我曾当面抵挡他，因为他有该责备的地方。原来，从雅各那里来的一些人到达之前，矶法与外邦人一起吃饭；可是那些人一到，他因为怕那些割礼派的人，就退缩，与外邦人分开了。其余的犹太人也跟着他装假，以致连巴拿巴也被他们的伪善引入歧途。但我一看见他们的行为不符合福音的真理，就在大家面前对矶法说：“你身为犹太人，如果像外邦人而不像犹太人那样生活，怎么还要强求外邦人像犹太人一样呢？”
