Furthermore, I have seen under the sun that in the place of justice there is wickedness and in the place of righteousness there is wickedness.

我又见日光之下，在审判之处有奸恶，在公义之处也有奸恶。

我又見日光之下，應有公平之處有奸惡，應有公義之處也有奸惡。

我在日光之下又看見：審判的地方有奸惡，維護公義的地方也有奸惡。

我又看日光之下甚麼地方在執行着公道，甚麼地方就有奸惡，甚麼地方有公義，甚麼地方也有奸惡。

我還看到在日光之下，在審判的地方有奸惡，在公義的地方也有奸惡。

我觀日下、公庭有不公、義所有不義、

我遍覽天下、公庭聽訟、當秉公義、而反狥私、

我又見日下審判之所、竟有偏私、當行公義之處、反有不義、

And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment— wickedness was there, in the place of justice— wickedness was there.

Here’s something else I saw on earth. Where people should be treated right, they are treated wrong. Where people should be treated fairly, they are treated unfairly.

Moreover, I saw under the sun that in the place of justice, even there was wickedness, and in the place of righteousness, even there was wickedness.

I also noticed that under the sun there is evil in the courtroom. Yes, even the courts of law are corrupt!

I also observed under the sun: there is wickedness at the place of judgment and there is wickedness at the place of righteousness.

Moreover I saw under the sun: In the place of judgment, Wickedness was there; And in the place of righteousness, Iniquity was there.

And moreover I saw under the sun, in the place of justice, that wickedness was there; and in the place of righteousness, that wickedness was there.

I also observed under the sun: there is wickedness at the place of judgment and there is wickedness at the place of righteousness.

And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment,[ that] wickedness[ was] there; and the place of righteousness,[ that] iniquity[ was] there.

I saw something else on earth: In the place of justice, there was wickedness, and in the place of fairness, there was wickedness.

Moreover I saw under the sun, in the place of justice, that wickedness was there; and in the place of righteousness, that wickedness was there.

Then I looked again at all the acts of oppression which were being done under the sun. And behold, I saw the tears of the oppressed and that they had no one to comfort them; and power was on the side of their oppressors, but they had no one to comfort them.

If you see oppression of the poor and denial of justice and righteousness in the province, do not be shocked at the sight; for one official watches over another official, and there are higher officials over them.

But you have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress you and personally drag you into court?

They band themselves together against the life of the righteous And condemn the innocent to death.But the Lord has been my refuge, And my God the rock of my refuge.

They covet fields, so they seize them; And houses, so they take them. They exploit a man and his house, A person and his inheritance.

Now the chief priests and the entire Council kept trying to obtain false testimony against Jesus, so that they might put Him to death.

How long will you judge unjustly And show partiality to the wicked? SelahVindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute.Rescue the weak and needy; Save them from the hand of the wicked.They do not know nor do they understand; They walk around in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands far away; For truth has stumbled in the street, And uprightness cannot enter.

Do you indeed speak righteousness, you gods? Do you judge fairly, you sons of mankind?No, in heart you practice injustice; On earth you clear a way for the violence of your hands.

Her leaders within her are roaring lions, Her judges are wolves at evening; They have no bones to gnaw in the morning.

Now she had written in the letters, saying,“ Proclaim a fast and seat Naboth at the head of the people;and seat two worthless men opposite him, and have them testify against him, saying,‘ You cursed God and the king.’ Then take him out and stone him to death.”So the men of his city, the elders and the nobles who lived in his city, did just as Jezebel had sent word to them, just as it was written in the letters which she had sent them.They proclaimed a fast, and seated Naboth at the head of the people.Then the two worthless men came in and sat opposite him; and the worthless men testified against him, against Naboth, before the people, saying,“ Naboth cursed God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.Then they sent word to Jezebel, saying,“ Naboth has been stoned and is dead.”And when Jezebel heard that Naboth had been stoned and was dead, Jezebel said to Ahab,“ Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth, the Jezreelite, which he refused to give you for money; for Naboth is not alive, but dead.”When Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, Ahab got up to go down to the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, to take possession of it.Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,“ Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, who is in Samaria; behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, where he has gone down to take possession of it.And you shall speak to him, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ Have you murdered and also taken possession?” ’ And you shall speak to him, saying,‘ The Lord says this:“ In the place where the dogs licked up the blood of Naboth, the dogs will lick up your blood, yours as well.” ’ ”Then Ahab said to Elijah,“ Have you found me, enemy of mine?” And he answered,“ I have found you, because you have given yourself over to do evil in the sight of the Lord.Behold, I am bringing disaster upon you, and I will utterly sweep you away, and will eliminate from Ahab every male, both bond and free in Israel;

As for evil, both hands do it well. The leader asks for a bribe, also the judge, And the great one speaks the capricious desire of his soul; So they plot it together.

Then Paul said to him,“ God is going to strike you, you whitewashed wall! Do you sit to try me according to the Law, and in violation of the Law, order me to be struck?”
