我廣貯金銀、集四方貢物、以及樂官伶女、后妃嬪御、充於後宮、

又積貯金銀、與列王諸國之珍寶、又得歌男歌女、及世人所樂者、以及妃嬪、

I amassed silver and gold for myself, and the treasure of kings and provinces. I acquired male and female singers, and a harem as well— the delights of a man’s heart.

I stored up silver and gold for myself. I gathered up the treasures of kings and their kingdoms. I got some male and female singers. I also got many women for myself. Women delight the hearts of men.

I also gathered for myself silver and gold and the treasure of kings and provinces. I got singers, both men and women, and many concubines, the delight of the sons of man.

I collected great sums of silver and gold, the treasure of many kings and provinces. I hired wonderful singers, both men and women, and had many beautiful concubines. I had everything a man could desire!

于是，示巴女王把一百二十他连得金子、极多的香料和宝石送给所罗门王；送来的香料，从来没有像示巴女王送给他的那么多。

今日我已八十岁了，还能辨别美丑吗？仆人还能尝出饮食的滋味吗？还能听男女歌唱的声音吗？仆人何必拖累我主我王呢？

他们到了俄斐，从那里得了四百二十他连得金子，运到所罗门王那里。

所罗门每年所得的金子，重六百六十六他连得；

所罗门王用锤出来的金子打成二百面盾牌，每面盾牌用六百舍客勒锤出来的金子；又用锤出来的金子打成三百面小盾牌，每面小盾牌用三百舍客勒金子。王把它们放在黎巴嫩林宫里。王又制造一个大的象牙宝座，包上纯金。宝座有六层台阶，又有金脚凳，与宝座相连。座位之处两旁有扶手，靠近扶手有两只狮子站立。六层台阶上有十二只狮子站立，分站左边和右边；任何国度都没有这样做的。所罗门王一切的饮器都是金的，黎巴嫩林宫里所有的器皿都是纯金的。在所罗门的日子，银子算不了什么。因王的船只与希兰的仆人一同往他施去，他施船只每三年一次把金、银、象牙、猿猴、孔雀运回来。

他们以琴瑟逍遥歌唱，为自己作曲，像大卫一样；

希兰曾给所罗门一百二十他连得金子。

所罗门王一切的饮器都是金的，黎巴嫩林宫里所有的器皿都是纯金的。在所罗门的日子，银子算不了什么。

要用角声赞美他，鼓瑟弹琴赞美他！击鼓跳舞赞美他！用丝弦的乐器和箫的声音赞美他！用大响的钹赞美他！用高声的钹赞美他！

因此百姓一听见角、号、琴、瑟、三角琴和各样乐器的声音，各方、各国、各族的人就都俯伏，拜尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像。

所罗门的儿子罗波安作犹大王。他登基的时候年四十一岁，在耶路撒冷，就是耶和华从以色列众支派中所选择立他名的城，作王十七年。罗波安的母亲名叫拿玛，是亚扪人。犹大人行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，以所犯的罪惹动他的妒忌，比他们的祖先所犯的一切更严重。

他们打发小男孩出去，多如羊群，他们的孩子踊跃跳舞。他们随着琴鼓歌唱，因箫声欢喜。

大卫和事奉团队的众领袖分派亚萨、希幔，以及耶杜顿的子孙唱歌，以弹琴、鼓瑟、敲钹伴奏。他们供职的人数如下：

你们一听见角、号、琴、瑟、三角琴、鼓和各样乐器的声音，就当俯伏，拜尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像。

现在，你们若准备好，一听见角、号、琴、瑟、三角琴、鼓和各样乐器的声音，就俯伏拜我所造的像；若不下拜，必立刻扔在烈火的窑中，有哪一个神明能救你们脱离我的手呢？”

罗波安王制造铜盾牌代替那些金盾牌，交给看守王宫宫门的护卫长看管。

此外，还有他们的仆婢七千三百三十七名，又有歌唱的男女二百名。

他们都在父亲的指导下，在耶和华的殿唱歌，以敲钹、弹琴、鼓瑟伴奏，遵从王的指示，在神的殿里事奉。亚萨、耶杜顿、希幔，

王用檀香木为耶和华的殿和王宫做阶梯，又为歌唱的人做琴瑟；犹大地从来没有见过这样的。
