誰使上帝喜悅，上帝就給誰智慧、知識、和喜樂；惟有罪人、上帝卻給他勞苦，叫他將所收聚所積蓄的歸給那使上帝所喜悅的人：這也是虛空，也是捕風。

上帝所悅者、賜以智慧歡樂、若惡人則勞苦之、以其所積貨財、賜於善良、凡百之事、無非捕風捉影、以此益見矣。

天主所悅者、賜以智慧、知識、歡樂、獲罪於天主者、天主則畀以收斂積蓄之任、終歸於天主所悅者用、此亦屬於虛、亦如捕風、

To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness to the person who pleases him. But to a sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth. Then the sinner must hand it over to the one who pleases God. That doesn’t have any meaning either. It’s like chasing the wind.

For to the one who pleases him God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he has given the business of gathering and collecting, only to give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.

God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him. But if a sinner becomes wealthy, God takes the wealth away and gives it to those who please him. This, too, is meaningless— like chasing the wind.

For to the person who is pleasing in his sight, he gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy; but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and accumulating in order to give to the one who is pleasing in God’s sight. This too is futile and a pursuit of the wind.

For to a person who is good in His sight, He has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, while to the sinner He has given the task of gathering and collecting so that he may give to one who is good in God’s sight. This too is futility and striving after wind.

For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.

善人將產業留給子孫；罪人積藏的資財卻歸與義人。

他雖堆積銀子如塵土，豫備服裝如摶泥；他儘管豫備，義人卻必拿去穿；他的銀子、無辜人必分取。

直到現在、你們還沒有奉我的名求甚麼；求，就必得着，使你們的喜樂得以完滿。

義人有福啊！他們有好處，因為他們必喫他們行為的果子。惡人有禍啊！他有災難，因為他的手作甚麼，就有甚麼報給他。

以利息或物資利增加財物、是等於給那恩待貧寒者積蓄。

希西家在全猶大都這樣辦理：他在永恆主他的上帝面前都行良善正直忠實的事。凡他所開辦的事工、無論是關於上帝之殿的事奉或是關於律法誡命、以便尋求他的上帝的，他都全心全意地去作，所以他都順利成功。

尋見智慧的人有福啊！取得明哲的人真樂啊！因為從智慧所得的益處勝過從銀子所得的益處；智慧所生的利強於黃金；她比紅寶石寶貴；你一切所喜愛的都比不上她。她右手有長壽；左手有財富和尊榮。她的道路是愉快之道路，她的路徑全是安康興隆。對堅持着她的、她是生命之樹；持守着她的、便稱為有福。

你們在基督耶穌裏是出於上帝的：使基督耶穌成了我們從上帝得的智慧、成了我們的義、跟我們的聖化及得贖放；以致照經上所記：『誇口的應當拿主來誇口。』

他們二人在上帝面前都是義人，遵行主的一切誡命和律例，無可責備。

永恆主對挪亞說：『你和你的全家都要進樓船，因為在這世代我看只有你在我面前是個義人。

要讓基督的話豐豐富富地住在你們裏面，用各樣智慧彼此教導勸戒，以「詩篇」、頌詞、靈歌、帶着感恩的情調、用心詠讚上帝。凡你們所作的、無論是甚麼、在言語上或行為上、都要奉主耶穌的名去作，藉着他而感謝父上帝。

為這緣故、我們自從聽見的日子起、就為你們不停地禱告祈求，願你們對他的旨意得到充滿的認識，有全備屬靈的智慧和領悟，行事為人對得起主，凡事讓他喜歡，在一切善行上結果子，在認識上帝上增長着，照他榮耀之權能得能力，滿有力量，凡事能堅忍、恆久忍耐，帶着喜樂的心。我們也感謝父，因為他使你們能夠有分於眾聖者在光中的業分。

因為上帝的國不在乎喫喝，乃在乎正義和平與喜樂都在聖靈之感動中。本着這種原則來服事基督的、才是上帝所喜歡，又是人所試驗為可嘉的。

至於靈之果子呢、就是愛、喜樂、和平、恆忍、慈惠、良善、忠信、柔和、節制：這樣的事、沒有律法能禁止。

惟獨從上頭來的智慧、第一是清潔，其次是和平、溫良、柔順，滿有憐恤和美善果子的，不含糊兩可、不假模假樣。

其實是在人裏面的靈、是全能者的氣使人能明理的。

我見過日光之下所發生過的一切事；啊，都是虛空！都是捕風！
