For to the man who is pleasing in His sight, He gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy, but to the sinner He gives the task of gathering and accumulating in order to give to the one who is pleasing in God’s sight. This too is futile and a pursuit of the wind.

上帝所悅者、賜以智慧歡樂、若惡人則勞苦之、以其所積貨財、賜於善良、凡百之事、無非捕風捉影、以此益見矣。

天主所悅者、賜以智慧、知識、歡樂、獲罪於天主者、天主則畀以收斂積蓄之任、終歸於天主所悅者用、此亦屬於虛、亦如捕風、

To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness to the person who pleases him. But to a sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth. Then the sinner must hand it over to the one who pleases God. That doesn’t have any meaning either. It’s like chasing the wind.

For to the one who pleases him God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he has given the business of gathering and collecting, only to give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.

God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him. But if a sinner becomes wealthy, God takes the wealth away and gives it to those who please him. This, too, is meaningless— like chasing the wind.

A good man leaves an inheritance to his grandchildren, but the sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.

Though he piles up silver like dust and heaps up a wardrobe like clay—he may heap it up, but the righteous will wear it, and the innocent will divide up his silver.

Until now you have asked for nothing in My name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.

Tell the righteous that it will go well for them, for they will eat the fruit of their labor.Woe to the wicked— it will go badly for them, for what they have done will be done to them.

Whoever increases his wealth through excessive interest collects it for one who is kind to the poor.

Hezekiah did this throughout all Judah. He did what was good and upright and true before the Lord his God.He was diligent in every deed that he began in the service of God’s temple, in the instruction and the commands, in order to seek his God, and he prospered.

Happy is a man who finds wisdom and who acquires understanding,for she is more profitable than silver, and her revenue is better than gold.She is more precious than jewels; nothing you desire compares with her.Long life is in her right hand; in her left, riches and honor.Her ways are pleasant, and all her paths, peaceful.She is a tree of life to those who embrace her, and those who hold on to her are happy.

But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became God-given wisdom for us— our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption,in order that, as it is written: The one who boasts must boast in the Lord.

Both were righteous in God’s sight, living without blame according to all the commands and requirements of the Lord.

Then the Lord said to Noah,“ Enter the ark, you and all your household, for I have seen that you alone are righteous before Me in this generation.

Let the message about the Messiah dwell richly among you, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, and singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, with gratitude in your hearts to God.And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

For this reason also, since the day we heard this, we haven’t stopped praying for you. We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God.May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience, with joygiving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you to share in the saints’ inheritance in the light.

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.Whoever serves Christ in this way is acceptable to God and approved by men.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without favoritism and hypocrisy.

But it is a spirit in man and the breath of the Almighty that give him understanding.

I have seen all the things that are done under the sun and have found everything to be futile, a pursuit of the wind.
